Another glitter card

Today's card is made with the same technique like the "slow down" card.
I've cut HAPPY BIRTHDAY and a small flower out of a silver shimmer cardstock with my Cricut cutting machine, adhered the panel with double sided tape on a A2 card base and burnished the glitter in rainbow color into the positive space with my finger.
That's it :D

And here the close-up......

Have a nice day !!!

Crayons on rainbow

This post is for my three year old daughter Yerin.
She likes crafting and watching videos from card making ladies with me. Recently we saw a video from talented Nichol Magouirk (click to see the original card). It is a very cute card made with the lawn fawn stamp set "you color my world" in which rainbow colored crayons with cute faces are placed on a cloud.
After Yerin saw the Video, she wanted to watch it every day about for a week and started making cards like the one in the video.
Doodling, coloring, fussy cutting and gluing day and night :)

The first masterpiece is here.....Cloud and a small bird are not forgotten !

Today she made another version of that.
But she let me draw the outline of the crayons and the faces instead of making it totally by herself. Of course I should follow her directions with regard to the facial expressions: the red crayon with winking eye, the yellow one with glasses, the green one sticking tongue out and the purple one has his eyes closed (she remembered the faces on the Nichol  Magouirk's card exactly.)  She even tries to make a shade on the crayons with a darker color :) ......

This time she glued the crayons on a rainbow and wrote her name.

It looks like a rainbow slide, on which the crayons have a great ride now, isn't it?

I added some sparkle with iridescent Sparkle embossing powder all over the card.
So we can enter this card on this week's wednesday challenge of SimonSaysStamp : sparkle and shine !!!

Thanks !
Hoping you have a wonderful week !

Slow down

Here is my second post :)

Line, this week's cue word of the CASology challenge inspired me.
I have made a .svg cut file which shows a snail with her trace in line.
I don't know why, but it had to be yellow!  I used heavyweight yellow cardstock from Bazzill to cut out the designed line with my Cricut cutting machine. I embossed the upper part of the negative space panel with polka dot embossing folder. I covered a A2 sized card base with double sided tape and then adhered the negative space panel on that.
I filled the space where the line with the snail was cut out, with glitter in rainbow color. This is a wonderful technique I have learned from Jennifer Mcguire's blog and is also very easy to do even for a beginner like me :)
For the snail I chose a "slow down & enjoy your day" sentiment from Newton's Nook, stamped on the same yellow cardstock with black stazon ink, cut in form of a speech bubble and adhered it with foam tape on the card.  Finally I rounded two upper corners.

And here is it......

I am joining the CASology challenge week 156,

and Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge Sparkle and Shine.
Unfortunately the picture dosen't show the sparkle very well....

Thanks for stopping by !

Welcome to my brand new blog. It still looks like an unfinished house, my apology for that :)

I have made a "miss you" card for CAS(E) this Sketch challenge #132 .

I designed an oval frame with a tree as a svg-cut file and cut it with my Cricut cutting machine.  I used ranger watercolor paper as background panel, which I colored with distress ink in various green, blue and yellow color range.
I colored the bottom area of the frame with gathered twigs distress ink, gave some glittery touch with the wink of stella brush marker. After I heat embossed the frame twice with clear embossing powder, I adhered it on the backgound panel.
The sentiment from paper smooches is stamped with gathered twigs.
I added a mini heart epoxy sticker in the sentiment for an accent.
I chose blue card base for this card.

And here is a close-up.

I am very happy and excited, because it's my first challenge as a beginner in crafting world !
Thank you for stopping by !
Have a nice day,
