Hello :)!

Today I want to show you a card I made with the help of my Cricut!

A card with a silhouette image is not a familiar style for me. But an advertisement I saw on internet gave me this idea with silhouette hands holding happy sentiment.
For this I made a cutting file (.svg) and cut it out from a black CS. The chic background is the Garland bold prints stamp from Hero Arts. I heat embossed it using silver glitter EP on a watercolor paper panel.  I then added four neon colors of Zig markers onto the area where the happy will be placed. The silhouette image and the silver banner with silver heat embossed "Birthday" were foam mounted. To finish off I adhered three rhinestones.
I'm so happy with how this turned out!!! Hope you like it, too!

Have an wonderful day!

CASEing Gloria

Hello and Happy Saturday!

Today I have a quick post to link up my CASE card of Gloria's pretty inspiration over at Happy Little Stampers August CASE the designer Challenge

Instead of the masking technique Gloria did, I let my Cricut help me to cut out a maple leaf as a main element, after I stamped the layered leaves from Autumn Foliage stamp set using Couture color ink collection  (Cocoa and coral collection) from The Ton. The ginkgo leaves were stamped using yellow and green Memento inks. I then blended some DIs on the card base to give the fall colors to the maple leaf and foam mounted the front panel. The gold heat embossed sentiment is from Hero Arts. To finish off I added some dots with gold Pico Embellisher and scattered a few gold and orange sequins.

I'm so happy that I've managed to play along this month to CASE one of my first crafty friends, Gloria !!!

Here is Gloria's pretty Creation!

Thank you for visiting me today!
Wishing you all a restful weekend!!!

Hello and welcome to my blog!

Today I have a card and a great news to share with you!!!
Now I'm officially the newest member of The Ton design Team :)!!!
I'm so thrilled and happy to be in the team with amazing card makers, whose works I really adore.
And as you may know I love the floral stamps from The Ton!

Today's card was made using a hand carved stamp by EunJi Jung, who is also in The Ton design team. Please hop over to her blog to see more beautiful stamps and perfectly colored cards she made!

I stamped the image using embossing ink on a glossy CS and heat embossed it in silver. I then added some droplets of alcohol inks (Wild Plum, Raspberry for the magnolia flowers, Hazelnut, Butterscotch and Citrus for the stem) to color the image. In some spots the ink went outside the lines. It happened if the embossing has some open areas or it was a kind of overflow. It would be great, if I could controll the amount of ink droplets more precisely.
I added a bit of blending solution, too, to spread the ink, so it can fill the image completely. I then splattered Raspberry ink using an old paintbrush.
I cut the left side of the panel using a deckel scissors and foam mounted it on the card base, on which I stamped the diagonal stripes stamp from SSS in wild orchid.
The sentiment is from The Ton. I heat embossed it in silver on a piece of woody pattern paper.
Some sequins were the finishing touch.

Thank you so much for visiting my blog! I hope you enjoyed my card!
Have a wonderful day!

Beautiful day

Hello and happy Tuesday!

As I was visiting my favorite challenge blogs, I encountered a collection of some pretty photos at the Essentials by Ellen August Pin-Sights-Challenge (see below) and decided to try to enter a card.
I chose a photo of a soft pink wedding cake for my inspiration.

And here is what I came up with.

The photo reminded me of an embossing folder, which I didn't use yet. To start off I colored a piece of watercolor paper in pink using smooshing technique and dry embossed it. I then decorated the embossed cake using Pico Embellisher (Wedding dress) and with some vellum flowers and leaves, which are heat embossed using white pearl EP. I used for the flowers the Bohemian Garden Stamp set from Essentials by Ellen. The sentiment from Mondo Magnolia stamp set was stamped in soft pink on a banner.

That's all for today!
Wishing you all a wonderful day!

Hello everyone!

Hello everyone!
Long time no see!  I hope you are having a wonderful summer so far!

At last I've unpacked my craft supplies and my new craft space is ready for some messy and creative outlet :).
It was not easy to start off after a long break, so I decided to go with some coloring which I love to do.

The stamp I used for this card is a handcarved one by EunJi Jung. She is making some beautiful floral stamps which are big enough to fill a A2 card.

I started off by blending some Distress inks in yellow, light green and light blue and splattered clear water to make a background for the calla lily. I then stamped the image using blue and green Memento inks to color it with Copic markers first. I added some details using Prismacolor pencils and stamped the sentiment from The Ton in black. To finish off I scattered some sequins.

I'll enter this card into Addicted to Stamps and More #207: Make your Mark.

I hope I can get my Mojo back soon :).
Looking forward to Fall full of crafting fun!

Thank you so much for visiting!
Have a wonderful week!
