I'm so thankful for the opportunity to celebrate our unique community today. I started cardmaking in 2015, 2 years after my family had moved to USA. This online community has been the window to the world for me through which I learned about so many people and cultures and made my crafty friends! And Altenew was one of the stamp companies I have got to know as I started cardmaking. As I love their floral stamps, especially the large and delicate images, I chose one of my favorite stamps for today's card : Crown Bloom.
I started by stamping the outline images from Crown Bloom stamp set on some Canson watercolor paper. I stamped the flowers in Sand Dune and the leaves in Minty Mint to do no-line coloring. I watercolored the images with Altenew Watercolor Brush Markers: Spring Garden Set and cut them using coordinating dies.
To add some texture on my background I added clear glitter embossing paste through Sketched Lines stencil on a shimmery cardstock. I cut the shimmery cardstock along a curved line I drew to follow the floral arrangement.
I then searched for a thin and long sentiment and found a beautiful one from Build A Flower: Anemone set. I white heat embossed it on my gray cardbase using Pure White Crisp Embossing Powder.
I then assembled the card together. The stenciled shimmery panel was foam mounted on the cardbase. The flowers and leaves were adhered partly flat or using some foam adhesives as shown in the picture. I added yellow dots on the small flowers using yellow Pico embellisher to finish off the card.

Fabulous colouring on this beautiful flower amd foliage TaeEun and love background with the grey card at the bottom which shows off the sentiment beautifully, and the clear glitter embossing paste on the top half which looks so sparkly. x
