I can't believe it's the last day of January! One month of this year has flown by... Hope you had a wonderful month :)!
Today is again the Seize the Birthday Thursday. The Toppings option for next fortnight is
Black and White Only
I used a black cardbase and white floral die cuts to make my card.
I started off by applying Nuvo glimmer paste Black Diamond on a black panel through a DIY stencil I cut using Geo Mountain Coverplate die B by The Ton. I applied the paste partially on the panel and let it dry.
The white flowers and leaves are cut using Petal Cut Peonies dies also by The Ton.
I glued the black panel on a black cardbase, arranged the flowers and leaves as shown in the picture and added the sentiment from Penned Sentiments set. I simply stamped the sentiment in Noir on a strip of white cardstock and matted it with a black glitter paper.
I finished off the card by adding some Glass Slippers and Glossy Black sequins.
It was a quick card to make. Hope you come up with a black and white birthday card design idea and play along with us! But as always you may enter any birthday card in our gallery!!!

The die cut peony flowers are so pretty TaeEun, and I adore the glittery black paste on the black background. The black on white sentiment contrasts perfectly over the top and the clear and black sequins are great embellishments too. x
