Today I'm sharing my DT card for the new challenge at The Flower Challenge!
FOCUS ON BACKGROUND STAMPING is our theme for June!
I've created a floral background using Smile set which Deepti has designed.
I stamped the calla lilies in Twisted Citron DI on a watercolor paper panel repeatedly to create a background. I watercolored the panel and added some shades using colored pencils. I also added some green and yellow dots in the background using Copic markers.
After the coloring was done I cut a frame from the panel using Double Stitched Rectangles dies (The Ton). I ink blended the frame in Twisted Citron DI to make it darker. I mounted the colored panel on a white cardbase. The frame was foam mounted on its place.
The sentiment was cut using Mod Scripty Sentiments SVG cut file from The Ton's digital category. I cut it two times, stacked them and then gold heat embossed it. I added the sentiment to the card using some foam adhesives. My finishing touch was the yellow and green sequins from Winter thaw, Cinderella's ride Couture Mix and Lemon Chiffon sequins by The Ton.

love it! really like that the frame is in contrast to the background.
I love the green and yellow colours using this pretty Calla Lily image too TaeEun, and such a beautiful slightly darker stitched frame and a stylised die cut sentiment as a finishing touch. x
