Alcohol inked Background featuring new Standalone Dies - Pinkfresh Studio

Hello everyone!

Today I'm on Pinkfresh Studio blog with a couple of cards I made using some new standalone dies from August 2019 Release: the Modern Blooms die, the Leafy Branch die and the Beautiful word die

I've created a dry and heat embossed background panel with a faux metallic look using Modern Blooms die and alcohol inks for my first card. For the second one I used also an alcohol inked background panel as a backdrop for the beautiful die cut elements.

I hope you could stop by Pinkfresh Studio blog for more details about how I made them!

Wishing you all a happy weekend!
Hugs,
TaeEun

Seize the Birthday #173 - Square Card

Hello everyone!

Today is Seize the Birthday Thursday! The Toppings option for the last challenge of August was chosen by my lovely team mate Glenda and she wants us to make square birthday cards!

SQUARE CARD

There is alway a Anything Goes challenge at Seize the Birthday, if you don't want to take the Topping! Any birthday themed project is welcome in the gallery!

I've made a CAS floral birthday card.

I stamped the image of Tulip Bouquet stamp set by The Ton on a CANSON watercolor paper panel in Antique Linen DI. I colored the image using Mijello Mission Gold watercolor.

After the coloring was done and dry, I dry embossed the outline using the coordinating die of Tulip Bouquet. I then cut the panel using a Double Stitched Square die. I foam mounted the colored panel on a gray square cardbase and added the white heat embossed sentiment from Penned Sentiments set (The Ton).

That was my DT card for the Square Card challenge at Seize the Birthday!
Please head on over to the Seize the Birthday blog and get lots of inspiration from my amazing team mates and our surprise party guest Su Mohr from Aromas and Art!

Thank you so much for looking! I'd love to see your birthday projects in the gallery!
Hugs,

Pinkfresh Studio August Release Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to Pinkfresh Studio August Release Blog Hop!
You've arrived here froRebecca Luminarias' blog, if you're following the blog hop order. In case you're lost on the way or want to start over, please hop over to Pinkfresh Studio blog!

Pinkfresh Studio August Release includes six gorgeous stamp sets along with coordinating dies and six standalone dies, all beautiful and unique! I'm so excited and feeling honored to be part of this blog hop!

I have three cards to share with you today. The first two cards are showcasing Floral Vase stamp set and the coordinating die. Let's take a look!

I started off by stamping the bouquet on a solar white cardstock in Memento black ink and colored the image using Copic markers. I added the darkest shade of the flowers using my Polychromos colored pencils. I die cut the bouquet and fussy cut the bottom part to cut off the stem, as the coordinating die cut the bouquet with the stem.

I stamped the outline of the vase in black and stamped the layers of the vase, stems and water in light blue inks on a Bristol smooth panel. I then added a little bit of light blue shading using colored pencils. I masked the vase and ink blended the background in pink DIs. I mounted the background panel with the vase on a white cardbase.

To create the frame I used one patterned paper sheet from Just a Little Lovely 6 x 6 Paper Pack and Pretty Frames dies from the Essentials. I foam mounted the frame on the cardbase, on which I adhered the background panel with the vase. I rubbed pink glitter into the tiny holes of the die cut frame as the sticky part of the foam tape peeked through them.

The sentiment is from  Floral Vase set as well. I gold heat embossed "sending" on a scarp of the same patterned paper I used for the frame and cut it using the coordinating die. I then white heat embossed the small sentiment on a strip of black cardstock. I adhered the sentiments on the bottom of the card front and foam mounted the bouquet over the vase. I added some white accents on the flowers using a white gel pen and the card was finished!

My second card is showing the bouquet from Floral Vase colored using Pinkfresh Studio Liquid Watercolors.

I started off by stamping the bouquet with the stem and the bow in Antique Linen DI on a watercolor paper panel.  I stamped the bouquet and stem again on a separate watercolor paper panel as background so that it shows around the main bouquet image making it bigger. I masked the center part of the panel where the main bouquet would be placed and stamped the bouquet several times only partially. I also used some floral cluster form Floral Elements set to fill some gaps.

I colored all the images using Pinkfresh Studio Liquid Watercolors. I die cut the main bouquet and the bow using coordinating dies. After coloring of the background panel was also done I cut a side of the panel using a stitched scallop die from Classic Edgers. I chose a patterned paper sheet from Just a Little Lovely 6 x 6 Paper Pack in pink and yellow to match with the bouquet and adhered it on a white cardbase. I then mounted the background panel frat on that and added the bouquet and the ribbon using some foam adhesives.

The sentiment from  Floral Vase set was stamped in black pigment ink and clear heat embossed on a scrap of patterned paper I used for the background. I foam mounted it onto the card along with a small sentiment which was white heat embossed on black cardstock. To finish off I added some pretty pink and yellow jewels from Jewel Mix.

My last card is featuring Leafy Envelope die and Lovely Blossoms stamp and die set.

To start I cut the  Leafy Envelope from a teal green patterned paper from Just a Little Lovely 6 x 6 Paper Pack and from a heavyweight white cardstock. I left the white die cut in whole and heat embossed it in Iridescent sparkle embossing powder. I stamped the sentiment from Delicate Wreath set in black pigment ink on a part of the white die cut envelope before heat embossing. I then adhered the outline image of the teal green die cut on the white one.

To add some freshness to the card I stamped the small flowers and leaves from Lovely Blossoms stamp set and cut them using the coordinating dies. I chose a patterned paper from Just a Little Lovely 6 x 6 Paper Pack as my background. I mounted the panel flat on a white card base, adhered the  Leafy Envelope on it and arranged the little flowers and leaves on the left part of the envelope.

I covered the little flowers with a clear glitter pen and finished off the card by scattering some purple and clear jewels from Jewel Mix.

That's it from my side! I hope I could showcase the beautiful stamp and die sets and inspire you to create!

The Ton Fall 2019 Release Instagram Hop

Hello everyone!

As of today we have a three day long Instagram hop. Every day we will have guest designers showcasing our Fall 2019 Release items.

If you missed the The Ton Fall 2019 Release posts, please hop over The Ton blog and hop along!

I want to share my card I made for today's Instagram hop here on my blog too, so you don't miss anything :).

My card is featuring Holiday Trio set from The Ton Fall 2019 Release.

I white heat embossed the three gift boxes on a watercolor paper panel. To add color I chose "smooshing" technique. I scribbled Aquamarine, Amethyst and Pink Garnet Spectrum Noir Sparkle pens and silver watercolor on a clear acetate sheet, sprayed lots of water and pressed the panel with the white heat embossed image on it. I repeated the precess until I was happy with the result.

I lifted a little bit of color from the background to make the image stand out. I masked the image and splattered white opaque ink on the background. After the panel was dry, I cut the panel using Double Stitched Rectangle die and foam mounted it on a navy cardbase. I adhered a strip of Adhesive glitter paper Glossy Fine Silver on the cardbase to add more sparkle and shine.

The sentiment is also from Holiday Trio set. I stamped it in Plum Wine and Deep Sapphire cut it using a small Double Stitched Circle die . I added a silver glitter circle underneath it and foam mounted it on the card along with a nest of silver thread. I finished off by scattering some sequins from Lilac Blossoms and Purple Ballgown Couture Mix.

That's it for today! Please visit my Instagram account to hop along and to get more details about the Instagram Hop and giveaways!

Thank you so much for visiting my blog today!

The Ton Fall 2019 Release Day 2

Hello and Welcome to The Ton Fall 2019 Release Day 2

We are celebrating The Ton's Fall 2019 Release with 14 new photopolymer stamps!
New stamps inclusive coordinating cut files are available in The Ton Shop now!!!

New release orders will begin shipping on August 28th.

Today five gorgeous holiday themed stamps sets are debuting: Holiday Shoes, Holiday Trio, Poinsettia Arrangement, Loose Poinsettias and Poinsettia Wreath

I have four cards to share with you today. The first card is showcasing the unique design of Holiday Shoes. I also used the pretty poinsettia cluster from Holiday Trio set.

I started off by gold heat embossing the main image of Holiday Shoes and the poinsettia cluster from Holiday Trio set on some Bristol vellum paper panel. I colored the images using Color burst powders and silver watercolor. After the coloring was done I fussy cut the images and set them aside.

To create the background I stamped the Modern Plaid background on a white cardbase in Pink Derby. I foam mounted a white rectangle panel on the cardbase as a mat for my images. I've made a tag with the sentiment from Holiday Shoes, stamped in Noir, tucked the string of the tag into a slit I cut in the bow of the Holiday Shoes image and adhered the main image on the white rectangle panel. The poinsettia cluster was added using some foam adhesives. I added some glittery detail on the center of the poinsettias using Stickles and gave the white berries some dimension using white Pico embellisher. I finished off the card with some Glass Slippers sequins.

My second card is featuring Poinsettia Arrangement set.

I heat embossed the image on a watercolor paper panel mainly in Rose Gold. I heat embossed the berries and leaves in the upper part of the image in gold. The image was colored with Color Burst.  After the coloring was completed, I dry embossed the panel with two Double Stitched Circle dies. I cut a mask using the large Double Stitched Circle die from a print paper and masked the dry embossed circle. I then stamped Bare Tones background on it in Hollywood star to match with the color of poinsettias.

I narrowed down the front panel a bit and foam mounted it on a pink cardbase. I added some glitter on the berries and the center of the poinsettias using Crystal Stickles. I finished off the card by adding Pink Diamond and Pink Bokeh Couture Mix.

For my next card I've made a glamorous dimensional Poinsettia using Loose Poinsettias set.

I started off by coloring two Yupo paper panels in red and in green respectively. I used various red and green shades of alcohol inks. After the alcohol ink was dry, I gold heat embossed the outlines of the poinsettias from Loose Poinsettias set on the colored Yupo panel. I also gold heat embossed some berries on uncolored Yupo paper. I fussy cut all of the gold heat embossed images and set them aside.

For a dramatic contrast I chose a silver paper for my background. I heat embossed the Modern Plaid background in silver on it and cut the panel using a Double Stitched Rectangle die. The sentiment from Poinsettia Wreath set was gold heat embossed on some vellum which was adhered on the back of the silver panel. The silver panel was then mounted flat on a dark red cardbase.

I arranged the poinsettia layers as shown in the picture. I used foam adhesives for each layer. The Yupo panel warped by heat embossing. But this time it was intended to make the poinsettia even more dimensional! I covered the berries with white Pico embellisher and added three Silver Dew Drops to finish off the card.

Now to my last card for today which is featuring Poinsettia Wreath stamp set. The big wreath is so beautiful. I love it!

I white heat embossed the wreath on a watercolor paper panel. I didn't stamp it as one big wreath, but stamped two times partially on diagonal corners. I colored the poinsettias using Color Burst in Violet and Cerulean blue. I colored the berry leaves and the background using Pink Garnet Spectrum Noir Sparkle pen. I cut the panel using a Double Stitched Rectangle die and adhered it flat on a navy cardbase.

The die cut sentiment was made using Holiday Word dies and Adhesive Glitter paper Glossy Fine Silver. I raised the sentiment by stacking it on some white die cuts. I added silver glitter on the berries using Nuvo drops. To finish off I scattered some sequins from Summer Soiree and Lilac Blossoms Couture Mix.

The Ton Fall 2019 Release Day 1

Hello and Welcome to The Ton Fall 2019 Release Day 1

We are celebrating The Ton's Fall 2019 Release with 14 new photopolymer stamps! All of the new designs will debut today and tomorrow.
Everything will be available for purchase tomorrow, August 21st at 9am EST.
There will be Coordinating Cut files for some stamp sets ready to purchase!!!
New release orders will begin shipping on August 28th.

Nine new stamp designs are debuting today. Autumn Sweater, Oak Leaf Print and Thanksgiving Block are fall themed stamps in a unique print style. And there are beautiful floral trio, Dahlia Close Up, Sweet Bouquet and Transformation. Effie has designed also three unique and chic stamp sets, Better in Red, Flawless and Swatch it.

My first two cards are showcasing the new make up themed stamp sets, Flawless and Better in Red along with Swatch it.

To make this card I started off by stamping the make up utensils from Flawless set in Noir on a white cardstock panel. Instead of coloring the images I added the brushstrokes from Swatch it set on them. I used Hollywood Star, Grand Fuchsia, Iris Blooms, Azurite, Arctic Sky, Caribbean Turquoise and Lemon Drop.

To add the sentiment I cut a small circle from the panel using a Double Stitched Circle die. I gold heat embossed the sentiment from Flawless set on a piece of vellum and adhered it on the back of the circle window. I placed the cut out circle piece on the cardbase first and added the front panel with the vellum window on it. To finish off I added a few Medallion Gold sequins

For the second card I used Better in Red and Smooched stamp set. Better in Red set includes a chic layering lipstick image and also an outline of a lipstick.

I white heat embossed the outline image of a lipstick on a Bristol Vellum panel several times to make a stamped background. I scribbled light green, yellow, pink and light blue Zig brush markers on a clear acetate sheet, sprayed pearlized water on it and pressed the heat embossed panel on the watercolor mix.

After the background panel was dry I cut it using a Double stitched Rectangle die and set it aside.
I then stamped the layering lipstick in Grand Fuchsia, Pink Derby, Beach Blondie, Amber Citrine, Noir and Smoky Quartz and fussy cut it. The lips from Smooched set was stamped in Grand Fuchsia and cut using the coordinating die.
The sentiment from Better in Red was stamped in Noir on a piece of heavyweight white cardstock and cut using a small Double stitched Rectangle die. The sentiment panel, lips and the lipstick were foam mounted on the background panel. To finish off I scattered Royal Garden Party, Winter Thaw Couture Mixes and Glass slippers sequins.

My last card for today is featuring Transformation set. It has a big butterfly image with a wing full of beautiful flowers. It includes also some meaningful sentiments!

I stamped the butterfly image in an embossing ink on a Bristol smooth paper panel. I heat embossed the flower side in Rose Gold and the other side in gold. The image was then colored with Zig Brush markers and Spectrum Noir Sparkle Markers.

To create a separated look I masked the floral side and the left wing and stamped Haute Stripes  background in Lemon Drop on the panel. I also added ink blending in Lemon Drop only on the side where the butterfly's body is. I drew two black lines on the border of the striped background and stamped the sentiment from Transformation set  on the panel in Noir.

I cut the panel slightly smaller than A2 size and foam mounted it on a yellow cardbase. To finish off I added some Lemon Chiffon and Glass Slippers sequins.
