Pinkfresh Studio Holiday Stamp & Die Release Blog Hop + Giveaway

Hello and welcome to Pinkfresh Studio Holiday Stamp and Die Release Blog Hop!

You've arrived here froRebecca Luminarias' blog, if you're following the blog hop order. In case you're lost on the way or want to start over, please hop over to Pinkfresh Studio blog!

Pinkfresh Studio has released 5 stamp sets with coordinating dies, one stand alone die and one word die set today! The designs of this holiday release are pretty, clean and unique!

I've made three cards using some of the stamp and die sets from this release to share with you today.

My first card is featuring Classic Holiday Words dies and the Home for the Holidays paper and Embellishment bundle.

I picked a green patterned paper from Home for the Holidays 6x6 paper pack and applied white gesso on the center of it with a flat bristle brush and some splatters all over the panel. After the gesso was dry I cut it using a Diagonal Stitched Rectangle die and adhered it on a white cardbase.

I then assembled the snow globe using Globe Elements from Home for the Holidays Embellishment bundle. I added the clear acetate piece by adhering it using double sided tape underneath the two stars.
I cut two red strips with stars from a patterned paper from Home for the Holidays 6x6 paper pack and one strip from gold foil paper.
I added the strips and the snow globe onto the card using some foam adhesives.

The thin sentiment was cut from some gold foil paper using Classic Holiday Words die set. I then cut the background from a piece of vellum. I adhered them together and added it on the snow globe.

To finish off I added lady bug Pico embellisher on the holly berries and to the bow and clear glitter on the holly leaves.

The next card is featuring Cozy Christmas Wishes stamp set.

I wanted to make the sentiment stand out, which is integrated in the image. So I decided to heat emboss the sentiment in gold while heat embossing the small images around it in white. To do it, I stamped the image on a sheet of printer paper and cut out the sentiment part to use it as a mask and the negative part as a mask for the small images.

I masked the images around the sentiment and stamped the sentiment in an embossing ink to heat emboss it in gold on a navy cardstock. I then ink blended the perimeter of the A2 sized panel in dark navy and black ink and cut it using a Diagonal Stitched Rectangle die.

Next I masked the sentiment and stamped the small images around it in a white pigment ink and colored them with Prismacolor colored pencils. After the coloring was completed I white heat embossed the small images.

I foam mounted the panel on a white cardbase. I finished off the card by adding Lady bug Pico Embellisher on the berries and Crystal Stickles on the sparkles.

My last card for today is showcasing the beautiful Season's Greetings stamp set

For this card I used beautiful coral colored ink from Pinkfresh Studio which will be released very soon!!! I ink blended a Bristol Smooth paper panel while brightening towards the center. After ink blending I splattered white opaque ink all over the panel. When I added splatters, I covered the center with a circle scrap paper. I cut the panel using a Stitched Rectangle die and set it aside.

Next I gold heat embossed the beautiful wreath and the bow from Season's Greetings stamp set on a separate paper. I ink blended on them in the same coral ink and colored them with Prismacolor colored pencils. I colored the leaves in white to keep the wreath monochromatic. I then cut the wreath and the bow using the coordinating dies.

I gold heat embossed the sentiment on the background panel and foam mounted the panel on a white cardbase. Then I added the wreath along with a gold string on the card using some foam adhesives. The bow was placed on the top of the wreath and I put a small white enamel dot from Home for the Holidays Embellishment bundle on it. I added white Pico embellisher on the tiny berries to finish off the card.

That's it from my side! I hope I could showcase the beauty of the stamp and die sets and inspire you to create!

Seize the Birthday #175 - Add Geometric Shape(s)

Hello everyone!

The new Seize the Birthday Thursday has come!!!
This time it was my turn to pick a new Toppings option. I tried to choose an unusual one and came up with
"GEOMETRIC SHAPE(S)" !

I added rainbow hexagon elements to the scene I created using Falling for You set by Pinkfresh Studio.

I started off by stamping the waterfall and mountains in blue and green DIs respectively on a Canson watercolor paper panel. I also stamped the sun, a tent and trees on a separate watercolor paper.
I colored all the images using Pinkfresh Studio Liquid Watercolors and then cut the extra images using coordinating dies.

I cut the colored panel using Essentials: Diagonal Stitched Rectangles die and mounted it flat on a kraft cardbase. I cut several hexagons using the hexagon dies from Basic Label Frames die set from cardstocks in rainbow colors. I stacked the hexagons and added them onto the card.

The small elements I die cut earlier were added using foam adhesives. The sentiment was white heat embossed on a strip of some blue cardstock, matted with a white strip and foam mounted on the card.
Some clear iridescent sequins were the finishing touch.

As you know we have always an Anything Goes challenge running, so if you don't want to take the Toppings option you may enter any birthday themed project into our gallery!

Now it's your turn to play along! But before you go creating please stop by Seize the Birthday blog for more inspiration from my lovely team mates and our Surprise Party Guest Annie from Annie's Hobby !!!

Thank you so much for looking!
Have a wonderful day!

Pinkfresh Studio Stamptember® 2019 Stamp and Die set

Hello everyone!

I'm popping in to share a special card. Simon Says Stamp is celebrating the 10th Stamptember® this year! Many stamp companies are celebrating with Simon Says Stamp by designing special stamp sets through the whole September.

Pinkfresh Studio has designed a gorgeous floral border stamp set called Partial Cut Floral Frame! As the name already says the coordinating die cuts only the tip of some leaves and petals of the pretty floral frame image.

I couldn't join on the release day, as this Partial Cut Floral Frame stamp took a little break somewhere on the way to me 🙂. These exclusive stamps are only available in a limited quantity. So if you love this, get one before it's gone!

Here is my card!

I stamped the floral frame image on a Arteza's black sketch paper in a white pigment ink and colored it using Luminance and Holbein colored pencils. I think the Luminance pencils can cover the dark paper slightly better than Prismacolor pencils. I also chose the Holbein pencils, as they have many bright pastel colors. But Prismacolor pencils would also work great on black.

After the coloring was done, I cut the panel with the coordinating die, cut it again using a Stitched Rectangle die and curled up the cut part of the petals and leaves. I cut a heavyweight soft pink cardstock using the same Stitched Rectangle die. To add some sparkle to the back panel I heat embossed the border of the soft pink panel in Iridescent Sparkle EP and adhered the black front panel on it. It's hard to catch the sparkle peeking through the slits underneath the curled up leaves and petals in the picture.

The front panel was then mounted flat on a soft pink cardbase. The sentiment was stamped in a black pigment ink on the same soft pink cardstock I used for the cardbase and heat embossed in Extreme Peacock EP for some sparkle. I cut the sentiment panel using a die from Fancy Label Frames die set and foam mounted onto the card.

I finished off the card by adding some highlight using a white gel pen and some pretty crystals from Crystal Mix.

The partial cut flowers and leaves are so cute when they are curled up! Such a unique design!
Hope you liked looking my card!

Have a happy weekend!
Hugs,
TaeEun

New Stamps by The Gray Muse

Hello and happy Saturday, everyone!!!

I have a couple of cards to share with you today!

A lovely crafty friend, Rubeena has opened her own shop, The Gray Muse, where you can find the most awesome enamel pins designed for crafters.  She recently added clear stamps to her store and is releasing one stamp set when new enamel pins are debuting! By now she has two stamp sets in her store, Be Kind and Hugs, and I had the pleasure to play with them :)! Thank you, Rubeena ❤️!!!

In these floral designs the sentiments are already integrated!

I also love the design of the black and gold paper back she is using to ship her items.  How gorgeous!!!

Now let's take a look at the cards!
The first card is showing the Be Kind stamp set.

I stamped it on a Bristol smooth paper in Antique Linen distress ink and colored the flowers using Arteza and Zig brush markers. As I wanted the sentiment to stand out, I gold heat embossed the BE KIND after masking the area with the flowers. I brushed off the embossing powder which was on the floral image.

I added dots in the white area using W5 and W1 Copic markers. After the coloring was done, I cut the panel using a stitched rectangle die and mounted it flat on a gray cardbase.
To add some dimension and shine I filled the sentiment using white Pico embellisher and added white stamens with a white gel pen.

For the Hugs stamp set I chose my colored pencils to color.

I started off by stamping the image in a white pigment ink on a mulberry cardstock. I then colored the flowers and sentiment using Prismacolor colored pencils. I started coloring the petals and leaves in white and layered them with other colors.

After the coloring was completed, I gold heat embossed the image. I left the stamp in my MISTI to do that. I narrowed down the panel a little bit and foam mounted it on a soft pink cardbase slightly tilted as shown in the picture.

I finished off the card by adding Crystal Stickles on the sentiment and the Medallion Gold sequins by The Ton to the card.

As you can see, I had some relaxing coloring time! Hope you enjoyed looking my cards!

If you haven't visited The Gray Muse yet, you are missing something! You will love Rubeena's enamel pins and stamps!

Thank you so much for stopping by today!
Have a great weekend!

The Flower Challenge #36 - Anything Goes - Reminder

Hello everyone!
It's already time for a reminder post for the latest Flower Challenge! We are having an Anything Goes challenge this month!

My Favorite Things is sponsoring us this month, they are giving away two prizes. So we will choose two winners this month! Each will receive a gift card worth $25.

For my reminder card I used Modern Blooms, Mini Modern Blooms and Flushy Florals stamp sets by MFT.

I stamped lots of small flowers and leaves on some white cardstock in pink and purple. The leaves were stamped in light gray. I then fussy cut them all out and set them aside.

I created a background panel with a watercolor wash in pink and purple and splattered black ink on it. The dry background panel was cut down to a smaller size than A2 and foam mounted on a white cardbase.

I arranged the flowers and leaves on it using some foam adhesives. The sentiment is from Chandelier set by The Ton. I stamped it in black on a strip of white card stock and added it onto the card. To finish off I scattered some clear iridescent sequins.

That's it! Now it's your turn to play along with us! Please hop over to The Flower Challenge blog for more inspiration! Hope to see your floral projects in the gallery!

Have a wonderful day!

Autumn Bliss - Penny Black

Hello and happy Friday everyone!

Today I have three Fall themed cards to share with you. This post is full of Fall colors :) !!!

I had the pleasure to play with Penny Black's Autumn Bliss  release stamp and die sets recently. For today's cards I chose the dainty and natural stamp sets: Acorn and Animals(30-599), Golden Delight (30-601) and Autumn Bliss(30-600).

This is my first card. I did some no line coloring on the beautiful fox and leaves from Acorn and Animals (30-599) and Autumn Bliss (30-600) and placed them on a shiny copper base.

I stamped the fox and leaves on Canson watercolor paper in Antique Linen DI and watercolored them using Mijello Mission Gold watercolors. I cut them out, some of the leaves using coordinating dies of Autumn Bliss Cut Out (51-590), and set them aside.

The background panel was made using a metallic copper cardstock. I heat embossed the pretty wreath of Golden Delight (30-601) and the acorn branch from Acorn and Animals (30-599) on it in metallic copper EP to get a tone on tone look.

I mounted the slightly narrowed background panel on a white cardbase and arranged the leaves to put the fox on them. The die for the sentiment is from Blushing Cut Out (51-536). I cut the sentiment three times from some white cardstock and added it onto the card. I finished off the card by adding some gold and bronze rhinestones.

The second card is featuring a prettily decorated pumpkin from Autumn Bliss(30-600) set and again the acorn branch from Acorn and Animals (30-599) set.

I stamped the pumpkin on a solar white paper in light brown ink and colored it using Copic markers. After the coloring was done I gold heat embossed the image again with the help of MISTI tool and cut it using the coordinating die.

To create the background I used the acrylic block stamping technique. I chose a 2.5" x 3.5" block, scribbled yellow, orange and dark red Distress inks on it, sprayed pearlized water and pressed it onto a watercolor paper panel. I repeated the process to get the look I wanted.

After the panel was dry I gold heat embossed the acorn branch from Acorn and Animals (30-599) twice on it as shown in the picture. I then dry embossed the panel using a Stitched Loops die (51-573) to give the colored rectangle a frame. Lastly I stamped the sentiment from  Golden Delight (30-601) stamp set on it in dark brown.

I foam mounted the background panel on a kraft cardbase and added the pumpkin on it using some foam adhesives. Some Medallion Gold sequins by The Ton were my finishing touch.

The last card for today is a square card.  I thought the cute wreath of Golden Delight (30-601) set would fit perfectly on a square card :)!

First I made the background panel. I used Hazelnut, Butterscotch, Sunshine Yellow and Mountain Rose alcohol ink to create a Fall colored panel. On a Yupo panel I sprayed lots of rubbing alcohol, added the droplets of alcohol inks and blew to blend them. And then I splattered gold Mixative on it.

The wreath of Golden Delight (30-601) was stamped in a light ink on a solar white paper panel, colored using Copic markers and then gold heat embossed.  I cut the wreathe using Golden Delight Cut Out (51-589).

I cut the background Yupo panel in a square, matted it with a dark brown square panel and added them on a white cardbase. The wreath was foam mounted on it. The sentiment was gold heat embossed on a strip of the same dark brown cardstock I used for the background, and added onto the card.

Hope you enjoyed looking my Fall themed cards!

Thank you so much for visiting my blog and staying with me through this long post :) !
Have a wonderful weekend!

TaeEun
