The Flower Challenge #42 - Anything Goes - Reminder

Hello everyone! Hope you're enjoying the weekend!

Today I'm sharing my reminder DT card for the latest Flower Challenge. We are having an Anything Goes challenge this month! Just don't forget to pick some flowers for your projects!!!

This month our own DT member Rachel is sponsoring the challenge with her digital stamps. She designs beautiful floral stamps. Please check out her Etsy shop at Rachel Vass Designs! Our lucky winner will get two digital images of their choice from her Etsy shop!

I used Ruffled Peony digital stamp by Rachel for my card.

I printed the image on Canson Mixed Media paper. I reduced the opacity to get a gray image to do no-line coloring. I colored the image using Karin brush markers in red, pale orange and pale violet. The stem and the leaves were colored in gray.

After the coloring was completed I ink blended the border of the panel in Tattered Rose DI and Worn Lipstick DOX. I then added splatters of clear water and white opaque ink.

I cut the panel using a Double Stitched Rectangle die and adhered it on a cream cardbase.
The sentiment is from Peony Rose Vase digital stamp. I printed it, cut and foam mounted onto the card. I finished off the card by adding three Like Magic Sequins (Neat and Tangled).

That's it! Now it's your turn to play along! We'd love to see your floral project in our gallery!

Please stop by The Flower Challenge blog for more inspiration from my talented team mates!
Thank you so much for looking!

Hugs,
TaeEun

Someone [maybe you?] should give a lesson on how to use these wonderful digis, TaeEun! I managed to also do the color change, but had a hard time resizing it... didn't you also do a partial printing of a digital image, too?
However you do it, you also manage to WOW me! So very beautiful!

How gorgeous TaeEun and I just adore the colours and the blended ink around the edges, and with some spattering, to frame it. x

Oh those colors, TaeEun. I never would have thought to use them together and they just glow, assisted by the aura around them.
