Anemone Bouquet - EunJi's digital stamp

Hello and happy Friday everyone!

Today's card is featuring one of EunJi's new digital stamps, Anemone Bouquet.  I already made a card using single flowers in this set for The Flower Challenge. This time I used the cluster from the set.

Anemone Bouquet

I printed the cluster image on Canson mixed media paper and watercolored it. I started by painting the panel in green and pink, roughly on the background and on the image as well. I then watercolored the image. For the flowers I mainly used Crimson lake, a bold pinkish red color. After done with coloring I traced the outlines using black Micron pen and added white accents using a white gel pen.
I cut the panel slightly down using Double Stitched Rectangle die (The Ton) and foam mounted it on a dark red cardbase. The sentiment from Modern Labels (The Ton) was white heat embossed on a strip of black cardstock. I added a gold foil paper under the black strip and foam mounted it onto the card. To finish off I added some Medallion gold sequins from The Ton.

To print out the digital stamps on the right paper could be challenging. But you can adjust the size and the arrangement of the images as you want! I think it's a big advantage!

Hope you stop by EunJi's blog and her Etsy shop for more inspirations!

I want to enter this card into Addicted to Stamps and More #282: Make Your Mark.

Simple Valentine's Day Cards

Hello and happy Friday everyone!!!

I needed Valentine's day cards for my kid's school. So I decided to go with a CAS design for a mass production.

I made 4 inch square cards and matching envelopes. My Cricut was a great help!

I stamped the peony cluster from Timeless Peonies Print by The Ton on the right bottom corner of the cardbase in Rose Quartz, Soft Garnet and Red Sangria hybrid ink. I stamped the leaves in gray using Crystal Pewter and Smoky Quartz.

I then cut the heart from a soft pink cardstock with Cricut and cut out the part of the heart where the heart overlap the peony cluster using coordinating die for Timeless Peonies Print. XOXO was silver heat embossed on the heart. The heart was foam mounted and the card was done!!!

I want to enter this card into two challenges!

Magnolia Fussy Cut - EunJi's digital stamp

Hello and happy Monday! Hope your week is off to a good start!

Today I want to show you two cards I made using Magnolia Fussy Cut , one of EunJi's beautiful floral digital stamps.

Magnolia Fussy Cut
I printed the whole image on a mixed media paper sheet in gray and watercolored them.

For the first card I colored the biggest image using pearl watercolor. It's shimmering, but the picture doesn't show it well. The sentiment is from Happy Wishes by Penny Black. I cut the panel using Double Stitched Rectangle die by The Ton and cut along the outline of the image on the left side. I pop the panel up using foam adhesive on the dark brown cardbase.

I used the other magnolia images to create my second card.

The front panel is with the two magnolia flowers on the top of the stamp. I fussy cut the third flower and a bud (which are on the left side of the stamp) and then added them onto the main panel after I drew the stem for the third flower by hand. I glued a strip of green shimmer paper on the bottom of the card. To finish off I added Crystal Stickles on the center of the flowers.

I'm still learning how to use the digital stamps. But I can say I love that the size of the image is adjustable when I have digital stamps.

I want to enter the second card into Addicted to Stamps and More #272: Make Your Mark.

Have a wonderful week!

Tulip, Daffodil and Rose - EunJi's digital stamps

Hello again!

I'm popping in to share three floral cards I made last week with you. These floral images are digital stamps designed by EunJi which she has on her Etsy Shop DotBStamp. I colored them during the latest 30 day coloring challenge in September. And last week I finally could turn them into cards :).

The first card is showing the Botanical Parrot Tulip stamp. Parrot tulips are famous for their beautiful folds on petals. I tried to focus on the folds while coloring my red tulip :). I watercolored the tulip and the background.

The sentiment is from Happy Wishes set by Penny Black. I cut a rectangle frame from the panel using Double Stitched Rectangle dies from The Ton. The main panel was glued flat on the white cardbase and the frame was foam mounted. To finish off I added some clear sequins.

Next card is featuring botanical-daffodil set.

I colored this with Copic markers and added a little bit more details using Polychromos colored pencils. To show the yellow cardbase I narrowed the panel down. I cut the chevron pattern with a MFT border die and foam mounted it on the cardbase. The sentiment from Clearly Besotted was white heat embossed on a strip of white cardstock which I colored in green with Copic markers.

The rose on the last card is from Bouquet Rose Fussy Cut set.

I colored this cute bouquet with Koi watercolor and cut the panel with a Double Stitched Square Die from The Ton. I cut a corner of the panel, adhered a thin strip of gold glitter paper and mounted the panel on a square cardbase on which I stamped Minor Stripes (The Ton) in Soft Garden. The sentiment is from Paper Smooches. I gold heat embossed it on a circle panel on which I blended Soft Garden dye ink.

Hope you liked looking my cards!  I love EunJi's floral digital stamps!

I want to enter the tulip card into CAS Watercolor challenge which is Anything Goes this month.

And I'll link up the daffodil card at Addicted to Stamps and More #272: Make your Mark.

Thank you so much for visiting my blog today!
I have still a few cards to post. It's possible I pop in again :)!

Have a happy day!

Time Out #96 - CASEing Michele

Hello there!

I have a Christmas card to share with you today!
The latest challenge at Time Out is CASEing Michele Ferguson from I Card Everyone. I didn't want to miss the chance to CASE my lovely blogging friend, Michele's card and made one CASE card today :)!

This is Michele's pretty CAS card.

I took the layout and the camouflaging die cut sentiment from Michele's card. But mine is not that CAS like Michele's gorgeous CAS creation.

I used the new background stamp set from The Ton, Christmas Sweater for my background.

To start off I stamped the Christmas Sweater on a A2 sized white cardstock in embossing ink and heat embossed it in white. I then masked the upper part of the panel and blended Worn Lipstick and Candied Apple DOX on right bottom area of the panel. Next I die cut  "merry" using Holiday word die. As I found the die cut sentiment a little bit short I decided to add "Christmas" on the right side of the die cut. To add "Christmas" from Holiday Ornaments set (The Ton) I cut out a thin stripe from the front panel along the border of the blended area to the white part. I adhered the upper and lower part of the front panel flat on the red card base and white heat embossed "Christmas" on the gap between the two partial panels. I die cut "merry" three more times from a white cardstock, stack them together with the die cut from the front panel on the top and placed it on the negative die cut space

For some bling I added silver glitter tape on the bottom edge of the upper panel and two red rhinestones.

I want to enter this card into Addicted to Stamps and More#268: HOLIDAY too!

Juliet Rose - EunJi's Digital Stamp

Hello everyone! Hope your week is off to a good start!

Today I'm sharing two cards I made using EunJi's new digital stamp, Juliet Rose. It is one of the stamps she releases on her Etsy shop this month! And a beautiful one as always <3 !!!

One of the benefits of using digital stamps is that you can adjust the size of the image. I've made two cards using Juliet Rose in two different sizes.

This rose was colored in R81, 83, 85, 89 Copics. I fussy cut the bottom part of the image and a curved line through the panel to pop it up on the background. The background was created using koi watercolor and gold from Gansai Tambi watercolor. I stamped the sentiment by Penny Black in Noir on the background panel. The rose was foam mounted along with a strip of plum shimmer cardstock. I finished off the card by adding some iridescent and clear sequins.

For my next card I printed the rose in smaller size than the first one.

I colored the rose in R20, 21, 22, 27 Copics. The frame was cut from white cardstock three times with my Cricut. I stacked them together and gold heat embossed it twice. The background panel is one of the watercolored panels which EunJi has designed and sold last year. I splattered clear water on it and gold heat embossed the splatters. I glued the background panel flat on the white cardbase, added the frame and mounted the Juliet Rose image. The sentiment is from Basic Labels by The Ton. I stamped it in Dark Roast and added some hand drawn leaves to it. Some sequins from Guava Sparkle and Flamenco Sunset were my finishing touch for this card.

Hope you enjoyed my cards! Stop by EunJi's blog and Jenny's blog to see their beautiful creations!!!

Large Peony 4 - Coloring

Hello everyone!
Today I have two cards to share with you on which I colored the same Large Peony flower in two different ways. The stamp I used is by The Ton and is called Large Peony 4.

On my first card I colored the peony using gray and black colored pencils.

To start off I stamped the image in Noir. I masked off the flower and stamped the leaves as well. I then colored them using Payne's Grey, Cold Grey V and Black Polychromos colored pencils. I then splattered some gold watercolor from FineTec. The frame was cut using Deckled Rectangles die from Spellbinders from some white cardstock. I gold heat embossed it and foam mounted it on the front panel. The word hugs was cut and gold heat embossed. I cut it once again from some black fun foam to give the sentiment some dimension.

On my second card I watercolored the image using Zig Brush markers.

I wanted to do no-line coloring. So I started by stamping the peony in Ballet Slippers and the leaves in Soft Garden on Bristol smooth paper. Unfortunately the peony stamp wasn't clean and it was stamped in gray mixed with pink color...  I colored the image using Zig Brush markers.

After done with coloring I cut a L-shaped piece from a panel on which I blended green and blue inks. To put it underneath the flower image I cut the outline of the lower part of my peony. After I adhered the L-shaped piece on the colored panel, I mounted it flat on my cardbase. For some dimension I added foam adhesives under the bottom part of my image. The sentiment is from Large Peony 4 as well. I stamped it in Noir. To finish off I added some clear and glitter droplets using Nuvo Drops.

I've made a coloring video. You can watch it below or on my YouTube Channel. It's hard to explain how I color, as I have no systematic approach while I'm coloring. Usually I pick a picture or drawing on google or pinterest as my reference and try to recreate what I see. Here I took my first card for my reference to color the folds of the petals. I'm using a black velvet silver brush 4.

I have one more coloring video to share. My 5yo daughter Yerin wanted to have a video of her coloring process like mom and like other cardmakers on YouTube :). So we made this! I've shared a short version of it on Instagram. Yerin was so happy and proud of herself, as she've got so many positive comments. Thank you so much, if you watched this on Instagram !!!

Hope you enjoyed my cards and video today!

Camellia Birthday card

Hello everyone!
Today I have an almost one layer card to share with you. I was inspired by the inspiration picture and the beautiful inspiration card that Therese shared for Altenew July Inspiration Challenge

I stamped the third layer of the camellia flower and leaves from Build-A-Flower Camellia set by Altenew on the diagonal corners of a A2 sized white cardstock. I used Memento Angel Pink and New Sprout for no-line coloring using alcohol markers. I then colored the image using Altenew Artist Markers set A and a Copic marker (Blush). I made a coloring process video again :). You can watch it below or on my YouTube Channel

I then stamped the happy from Halftone Happy in black pigment ink and clear heat embossed it. The birthday was stamped in Evening Gray. I trimmed the colored panel, rounded two diagonal corners and foam mounted it onto a dark gray card base. To finish off I added some clear and iridescent sequins.

And here is my video! I left some parts in real time! Hope this helps, Pat :) !!! I'm coloring very slow... so it could be a little bit boring :)! The colors in my video are slightly muted as I can make the video only at night these days (It's Summer break... you know what I mean :)).

Have a Lovely Day

Hello everyone! Hope you're having a wonderful week so far!

Today I've made a card using the sketch at CAS(E) this Sketch #225. It will be a last-minute entry :).
I saw a square frame on the sketch and some flowers peeking out from it.

This is what I came up with!

First I've made a cutting file for the square frame welded with a vertical line. The anemones are from Fresh Cut Anemones Coordinating Outlines stamp set from The Ton. I stamped the anemone flowers in Tattered Rose and the leaves in Twisted Citron DI on Canson watercolor paper and colored them. I used Color Burst Peony for the flowers and Gansai Tambi watercolor for the leaves and the flower center. I cut them all with coordinating dies. I cut the frame from some watercolor paper with my Cricut and colored it with  Color Burst Peony too. On my black card base I gold heat embossed the sentiment, from Fresh Cut Anemones Coordinating Outlines as well, and added some gold splatters (I drew them with my brush- so it's faux splatter :))

I then assembled all the elements together. One leave was glued flat on the card base and the frame along with arranged florals was mounted with some foam adhesives. I added the purple stamen using a glaze pen.

I want to link this up at Addicted to Stamps and More #246 as well, as they have a Anything Goes week!

Kylie reminded me of the Happy Little Stampers June Watercolor challenge. I'll enter this into HLS June Watercolor challenge- Anything Goes as well :)!
