Time Out #96 - CASEing Michele

Hello there!

I have a Christmas card to share with you today!
The latest challenge at Time Out is CASEing Michele Ferguson from I Card Everyone. I didn't want to miss the chance to CASE my lovely blogging friend, Michele's card and made one CASE card today :)!

This is Michele's pretty CAS card.

I took the layout and the camouflaging die cut sentiment from Michele's card. But mine is not that CAS like Michele's gorgeous CAS creation.

I used the new background stamp set from The Ton, Christmas Sweater for my background.

To start off I stamped the Christmas Sweater on a A2 sized white cardstock in embossing ink and heat embossed it in white. I then masked the upper part of the panel and blended Worn Lipstick and Candied Apple DOX on right bottom area of the panel. Next I die cut  "merry" using Holiday word die. As I found the die cut sentiment a little bit short I decided to add "Christmas" on the right side of the die cut. To add "Christmas" from Holiday Ornaments set (The Ton) I cut out a thin stripe from the front panel along the border of the blended area to the white part. I adhered the upper and lower part of the front panel flat on the red card base and white heat embossed "Christmas" on the gap between the two partial panels. I die cut "merry" three more times from a white cardstock, stack them together with the die cut from the front panel on the top and placed it on the negative die cut space

For some bling I added silver glitter tape on the bottom edge of the upper panel and two red rhinestones.

I want to enter this card into Addicted to Stamps and More#268: HOLIDAY too!

Thank you so much for looking!
Have a wonderful weekend!!!

Guest Designing at Time Out - Reminder

Hello crafty friends!
Today I want to share a card with you! It is to remind you of the latest Time Out challenge, #86!

The theme of Time Out #86 is
Celebrations with the Optional Twist of One Layer Cards

I've chosen the twist option and made one more one layer card for my guest designer spot at Time Out.

This beautiful image is Anemone Bouquet from The Ton. First I gold heat embossed the banner from Basic Banners stamp set from The Ton as well. I then stamped the bouquet in Antique Linen DI on Canson Watercolor paper after masking off the banner. I googled for some images of anemone flowers and colored my flowers following the color scheme I liked. I used Zig markers to color.  I blended Tattered Rose and Picked Raspberry on the bottom of the panel. The sentiment in Noir is from Penned Sentiment stamp set. To finish off I scattered some sequins from Belle's Dress and Wintergreen Frost Couture Mix from The Ton.

Heartfelt thanks to Sandie and the Time Out team for having me as guest!!! I've truly enjoyed making one layer cards, which happens not that often :).

Thank you so much for stopping by!
Have a wonderful day!

Guest Designing at Time Out

Hello everyone!!!

Today I have the honor of being the guest designer for Time Out #86 !
My CASE of Hannelie's beautiful card for Time Out #83 brought me this chance to be part of this challenge!

The theme of Time Out #86 is
Celebrations with the Optional Twist of One Layer Cards

This challenge is sponsored by CAS-ual Fridays stamps and for today's card I've used Floating stamp set, which was the prize I got at the 3rd Birthday Challenge of Time Out :)!

I mixed up the hot air balloon from Floating with a MFT bear. First I stamped the bear after masking off the lower body, then I masked the bear and stamped the floral balloon in Memento black. Coloring was done using Copic markers and some glitter pens. After done with coloring I masked the whole image and added the clouds using cloud mask I cut from some scrap paper and blue DI. I used Clarity Stencil Brush for blending. So I could blend the subtle sky on the bottom of the card:)!
The sentiment is from Kaisercraft.  I stamped it in Violet Fringe. I went over the sentiment with a violet glitter pen to add some sparkle. For the chevron I used a border stamp from Paper Smooches. I stamped it in Crystal Pewter from The Ton and drew over it with a silver gel pen. To finish off I applied Shimmer Pico embellisher on the tiny hearts of the basket and on the nose of the cute bear.

Thank you so much for looking! I hope I could inspire you with my card today!

CASEing Hannelie Bester

Hello everyone!

Did you see Hannelie's card at Time Out Challnege? We are officially allowed to copy or CASE her gorgeous card! I say YAY!!! Her creative design ideas amaze me always, and this card is no exception!

I thought she stenciled that fiery background but it is a cut out window over a blended panel. My first plan was to stencil chevron pattern for my card but a new idea came into my mind and I went with it :). Except for that, I copied her card quite a bit!

To start off I stamped the snowfall stamp from Altenew in yellow, orange and red and clear heat embossed a chevron background stamp on my front panel. I then masked a circle and blended the same inks. Unfortunately I could not wipe off the colors on the clear heat embossing clearly. So the chevron isn't crisp as I wanted. My B&W flowers are from Wishful Wildflowers by The Ton. I stamped several flowers and leaves in black pigment ink, clear heat embossed them and die cut them all with coordinating dies.

I arranged the flowers around the circle, mounting one big flower on foam tape. The sentiment is from Paper Smooches, stamped in black, clear heat embossed and fussy cut, before I foam mounted it on the card.

I hope you like my CASE, Hannelie!!!

Thank you so much for looking!
Have a great weekend!!!

Get Well Soon

Hello everyone!

I'm popping in to share a card with you I made for two challenges!
Today's card is my take on the sketch of CAS(E) this Sketch #220 and as I have pretty flowers on my card, I want to enter this into Time Out #82 as well, without optional twist.

I started by dry embossing a white cardstock in A2 size and blending some green DIs on it. I then stamped the flower cluster from Wishful Wildflowers by The Ton on a Bristol smooth paper using Aquamarkers and colored it with Zig brush markers. The sentiment is from Clearly Besotted. I white heat embossed it on a strip of black card stock and mounted it flat on the card. The colored image was cut with Coordinating die and foam mounted on the front panel. To finish off I added some clear Dew Drops here and there :)!

Thank you so much for stopping by!!!
So happy to play along at some of my favorite challenges again!
Have a great day!

Yellow Lilies

Hello there!
It's me again :). I'm popping in to share a CAS floral card with you I made with the sketch of Less is More #317. I flipped the sketch.

The lily flower is from Hero Arts. I stamped it twice in black along with masking, cut a circle out and colored the part in the circle using Copic markers. After I foam mounted the highlighted part, I drew three yellow lines using some gel pen. The sentiment is from Oriental Orchid stamp set from Altenew a narrow sentiment, just what I wanted for this card :). I white heat embossed it on a strip of black cardstock and adhered it. To finish off I added three dots using Pico Embellisher and a coat of clear Wink of Stella on the lilies.

I want to link up this card at Addicted to Stamps and More #231: Anything Goes as well.

And I want to join in the TIME OUT's 3rd Birthday Party
Theme: Love and/or Friendship with the optional twist of 'spotlight stamping'
Happy Birthday and thanks to Nonni for the notice :)!

Thank you for stopping by!
Enjoy your day!

Purple Birthday card

Hello, everyone!
Today I have made a special birthday card.

There are two linky party out there, which celebrate Sandie Munro's birthday.
I've got to know Sandie (aka London Days) when I had the honour to be the guest designer at Time Out Challenge. She is so lovely and is always one of the first people who leave encouraging comments when I link up my entry into the challenges where she is in DT. And I'm always amazed by her CAS style.

Happy happy belated Birthday, Sandie! I hope you had wonderful birthday!

The theme of the linky party at Time Out is CAS with the optional twist of purple.
And here is what I came up with.

To start off I made a cutting file for the curvy line with a integrated bow like the picture below and another cutting file for the thiner line.

I then cut it from a white CS with my Cricut and blended purple DIs on the line and the back of the bow part. I added some pearl pigment with a dry brush on the blended area for some shine. I chose a purple polka dot pattern paper for the background, glued it on the card base and then the thin line onto its place.
After I stamped the sentiment from Paper Smooches in purple I made the bow using some glue and added a purple rhinestone on the bow. Lastly I mounted the front panel using foam tape.

I'm entering this card also into Addicted to Stamps and More #194: Clean and Simple.

Thank you all for coming!
Have a wonderful weekend!

Three floral cards

Hello !

Today I have three floral cards to share with you.

The first card is for Happy Little Stampers CASE the designer challenge. The designer for May is Melissa Lane. I love her artistic and beautiful creations. For us to CASE she made a stunning card with bold yet soft and detailed elements.

I was inspired by the black base, the layout, flowers in soft colors and butterfly.
The flowers on my card were drawn on computer and cut with my Cricut from a black CS. I used the negative panel. After I watercolored a piece of Mixed Media paper in pink and green, I mounted it flat on a black card base. I then mounted the flower panel which I cut in size using some foam tape. The butterfly from Stampendous was white heat embossed on a vellum. I added some pink touch on the back of it.
The sentiment is from Paper Smooches.

And here is Melissa's beautiful card.

My second card is for the Time Out Challenge #56 which closes today.
The theme of this challenge is CASEing Kay Miller. I really adore Kay's card (who dosen't?) and I wanted to participate in this challenge, but I didn't come up with an idea which I like.
Yesterday I was staring at Kay's beautiful card again. Then this idea popped into my mind that I could change the sqaure frame into a flower.

I started off by making a cutting file using my hibiscus sketch which I shared on a previous post. I cut the flower three times from a white CS and once from grey CS with my Cricut. I used the negative piece as a mask and blended red and pink Distress inks on the flower. I then stacked the flower cuts up onto the place. The splatters are dots made using silver Pico Embellisher. I added a vellum butterfly which I drew on computer and cut with Cricut. To finish off I scattered some sequins and applied Glossy Accents on the body of the butterfly.

Here is the gorgeous card, Kay created for the Time Out Challenge.

I want to enter this card also into Addicted to Stamps and More #194: Clean and Simple.

On the last card for today I practiced a technique I learned from a crafty friend, SoonJu Lee. She is a very talented paper crafter and makes the most beautiful scrapbook pages. Lately she made some cards on which she colored the images using very thick white watercolor. I found them so beautiful and decided to give it a try.
The bouquet in a vase is from Stampendous. I stamped it on a pattern paper using black pigment ink and colored it with white watercolor mixed with only a little water. I couldn't achieve the detailed look SoonJu made, but I like the result.
The sentiment is from Avery Elle.
I'm entering this card into SimonSaysStamp Wednesday Challenge: Flowers

Thank you so much for coming!
Have a wonderful day!

Happy Birthday from a bunny

Hello and happy Friday!

Today I have one more cute card following yesterday to share with you :).
It is my take on the sketch from MFT sketch challenge #277.

I turned the three circles of the sketch into balloons and made a mini birthday shaker card with them.
To start off I made a cutting file for the front panel and cut it from a white CS with my Cricut, after I blended the sky using cloud masks. I then stamped a bunny from somebunny stamp set from MFT and colored her using Copic markers. I gave her a yellow bow matching her yellow dress. I glued a piece of acetate sheet on the back of the front panel. I then prepared the card base by stamping a border stamp from MFT in yellow on the left side and blending pink, yellow and blue DIs for the balloons. After I added the tiny heart glitters I assembled the shaker card together. The sentiment from the same stamp set was integrated in a string which I drew with a black pen.

I'm entering this card also at
Seize the Birthday (Anything Goes),
Time Out #55 (Celebrations with optional twist of die cutting)
I hope cutting with Cricut can be counted as the twist. :)
 and
SimonSaysStamp Work it Wednesday March 2016 (PASTEL).

Have a great weekend!

Beautiful day

Hello and welcome!

Today's card is a CASE of Marjan's card from Marjan's blog.
Over at Time Out  runs the CASE with your own twist Challenge (#52).
The beautiful card by Marjan is little further below and here is what I came up with.

As I saw Marjan's card, a windy spring scene did pop into my mind where the cherry blossoms scatter away following the wind. I was inspired by the sequins she placed through her flowers towards the top of the panel.
To start off I stamped the tree from Stampin'Up using Spectrum aqua markers and stamped the splatters in pink and purple representing scattering flower petals. The dotty border is from MFT, which I stamped using Twisted Citron and Peeled Paint DIs. I blended the same inks over the stamped dots.
For the inlaid panel I die cut the front panel with a Spellbinder die. I then stamped and gold heat embossed the sentiment from Altenew. Before I mounted the panel using foam tape I blended Peeled paint DI on the top and bottom of the card base. For the finishing touch I added some golden dots diagonal across the scene using Pico Embellisher.

Here is Marjan's beautiful card.

I would love to enter this card also into the Addicted to Stamps and More #186: Anything Goes.

I have one more card to share with you today.

This is the second version of my previous card with a Hibiscus flower.
Here I added a butterfly from Fiskars, a sentiment from Hero Arts in black (clear heat embossed) and black enamel dots on the top right corner to balance the heavy black part of the card.

Btw thank you all who voted on my post with the first Hibiscus card. I was so glad to have your precious opinion about my decision!

Thank you for visiting! I truly appreciate for your time you share with me :)!
Have a wonderful week!

Spring Blessings

Hello and happy Thursday!!!

Today I have a spring-themed card to share with you and it is for the reminder post for the latest Time Out challenge where I'm guest designing.

The theme over at Time Out is
Easter and/or Spring with the optional technique twist of masking.

I used the masking technique to blend DIs for the background.

This darling girl blowing bubbles is an image from Penny Black. I stamped it with Antique Linen DI. I used Strathmore Bristol smooth paper because I wanted to color it using Zig brush pens and I think Zig brush pens can be blended very well on that paper. After coloring I added some highlights using white gel pen. I then blended some DIs for the spring scene. The sentiment from Penny Black was stamped in purple, blue and green with the help of Misti tool. For finishing touch I added some clear sequins.

This card was made during The Daily Marker 30 Day Coloring Challenge by Kathy. At that time I posted the drawing on instagram for the challenge and it was featured on Kathy's It's All about You post on Day 21.

Time Out challenge blog is celebrating the 2nd Birthday. And there is also something to win.
I hope to see you join in the fun!

Thank you for visiting my blog and sharing some of your time!
Have a great day!
