The Ton's Spring 2019 Release Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to The Ton's Spring 2019 Release Blog Hop!

We are celebrating The Ton's Spring 2019 Release with 7 new designs! Have you seen the gorgeous new items on The Ton's blog? Effie did her magic again and created unique designs.
There are additional promotions with free gifts. Head over to The Ton's blog for more details, if you missed it.

I've made four cards to showcase some of the new items.
Let's start with the Beautiful Branches stamp set. It is a small clear stamp set in 3 x 4 inches and includes floral branches of Spring and sentiments.

I started off by stamping the floral branch image on two diagonal corners of a white panel in Caviar hybrid ink and colored the images using Copic markers. I used RV and V colors for the flowers and YGs for the leaves.  I then colored the background using BG Copic markers and blended Cali Blue and Blue Diamond to smooth out the strokes.

To create a focus in the center of the card I cut a oval label from the colored panel and from a vellum using the coordinating die of Modern Labels set. I cut also a oval label from a bright blue fun foam to raise the die cut panel later.

The sentiments were cut using Love and Hugs word plate die. I cut the words from Glossy Fine Silver adhesive glitter paper and three times more from some white cardstock. The & was cut from a piece of blue DIY glitter paper I made for another card which I shared on The Ton's blog

I then started assembling the card. I cut the colored panel with the largest Double Stitched Rectangle die and glued the panel on a white cardbase. The oval piece cut from the colored panel was raised on the blue fun foam. I stacked the die cut words together and glued them on the oval vellum. I applied liquid glue on the back of the vellum, behind the words and adhered it on the oval panel.
I finished off the card by adding some Glass Slippers Round Confetti sequins and yellow Stickles on the center of the flowers.

The next card is showcasing the Daisy Fields. It is a 6 x 6 inch clear stamp with all-over Daisy images.

I started off by white heat embossing the Daisy Fields on some watercolor paper and colored it using Color Burst powders. I white heat embossed a big daisy from the image on a separate watercolor paper piece and colored it as well.

After the coloring was done I cut the panel using two Double Stitched Rectangle dies  to make the frame. The center piece was adhered flat on a white cardbase and the frame was foam mounted on it.

I then fussy cut the extra daisy and added it on the place where the same daisy is on the colored panel using some foam adhesive. The sentiment is from City Girls: Spring Smiles set. I stamped Yay! directly on the colored panel in Noir . The long sentiment was white heat embossed on a strip of watercolor paper. I colored the strip in sap green Color Burst and added it onto the card.

To finish off I adhered some sequins from Bell's Dress Couture Mix and Lemon Chiffon sequins on the card. I added some sparkle on the sequins and the center of the big daisy using yellow Stickles.

Next one is a watercolor floral card in clean and simple style.

I stamped the flower image from Mini Bud set four times on a watercolor panel in black pigment ink. The leaves are from Large Peony 1 and 3. I then watercolored the flowers in purple, pink and light brown. I colored the leaves in teal and purple.

I didn't color the background to give the card a clean look. After the coloring was done I mounted the panel flat on a white cardbase. I added bright accent on the flowers and leaves using a white gel pen.

The sentiment from City Girls: Spring Smiles set was white heat emnbossed on a strip of black cardstock. I adhered a thin strip of Glossy Fine Silver adhesive glitter paper on the bottom edge of the sentiment strip and foam mounted it on the card.  My finishing touch was some Glass Slippers sequins.

My last card is featuring City Girls: Spring Smiles set. I made a scene in which a girl is looking outside of a window feeling fresh Spring air filled with floral scent.

To start off I masked the outside of the square window on the middle of an A2 sized panel and stamped the floral branch from  Beautiful Branches  and the falling flowers stamp of City Girls: Spring Smiles set on the square. I then watercolored the flowers.

I stamped the girl on some white cardstock in Caviar hybrid ink and colored her using Copic markers. I fussy cut the image and set it aside. I then cut a thin frame from a shimmery cardstock using Double Stitched Square die and a craft knife. The curtain was cut from pink vellum. I stamped the sentiment in Noir on the front panel and on the dress of the girl with the help of MISTI tool.

I then assembled the card together. I adhered the colored panel on a white cardbase, glued the vellum curtains on the window and foam mounted the thin frame and the girl. I added a bit of Glossy Fine Silver adhesive glitter paper on the curtain to tie it. To finish off I added little clear sequins.

That's it from me for today! Hope I was able to show you how unique and awesome The Ton's new items are :)!

The Ton Washi Tape Release Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to The Ton Washi Tape Release Blog Hop!

If you've arrived here from amazing Laurel Beard's blog, you are right on track. If you want to start from the beginning of the blog hop, please visit The Ton's blog

The Ton is celebrating their first washi tape release with two new washi tapes! There are some free gifts with purchase promotions ongoing. Head over to The Ton Stamps' blog for more details.

Effie is our stamp designer and an awesome watercolor artist as well. She has designed two washi tapes based on her own floral watercoloring. The washi tape with elegant pink peonies and rose gold accents is called Pink Peonies and the other one with more cheerful design and colors is called Wildflowers

I've created two cards each of which is featuring one washi tape.

The first card is showcasing the Pink Peonies washi tape.

This washi tape is so beautiful. I wanted to show it as it is on the whole panel. The  Pink Peonies washi tape is 4.5 inch wide, so you can cover a A2 panel completely with it. I added floral images as focal point of the card.

To emphasize the watercolored look I chose the floral images from Watercolor Wreath stamp set. I kept the color combination of the Pink Peonies washi tape by heat embossing the images in Rose Gold,  colored the flowers in Fuchsia, Peony and Wisteria Color Burst powders and the leaves in Payne's gray watercolor. After done with coloring I cut the images using coordinating dies  and set them aside.

I adhered the Pink Peonies washi tape on a white A2 panel, cut off the excess and added it on a white cardbase. The white frame was cut using Double Stitched Rectangle dies. I glued a vellum panel behind the frame after I heat embossed the sentiment from Watercolor Bouquet set in Rose Gold

I adhered the frame on the card and arranged the floral elements using some foam adhesives as shown in the picture. I finished off the card by scattering some Glass Slippers sequins.

On my second card which is featuring Wildflowers washi tape I used the florals from the washi tape as my main image.

I started off by adhering the Wildflowers washi tape on a white cardstock and fussy cutting the floral clusters. The main image is the biggest floral cluster from the washi tape. I cut out solo flowers to add them on the main cluster image for some dimension and fussy cut smaller elements too.

The colors for the background were chosen regarding the colors of the main floral cluster. I blended Soft Garnet, Lemon Drop and Iris Blooms on a white A2 panel and let it dry. I then clear heat embossed Modern Plaid background stamp on it and blended the same colors again. I splattered white opaque ink and gold ink on the background panel and let it dry.

I then started assembling the card. The background panel was adhered on a white cardbase and the cut out floral clusters were arranged as shown in the picture. I white heat embossed the sentiment from Penned Sentiment set on a strip of black cardstock and added it onto the card. My finishing touch for this card was some clear Dew drops

That's it from my side. Hope you enjoyed looking my cards :)!

The Ton's 4th Anniversary Blog Hop - Day 2

Hello and welcome to The Ton's 4th Anniversary Blog Hop Day2!

Did you enjoy the Blog Hop Day1 yesterday? Today we are hopping again with amazing guest designers to celebrate The Ton's 4th Anniversary!!!

Effie has introduced 9 new designs for The Ton's 4th Anniversary 2019 release. There are some free gifts with purchase promotions ongoing. Head over to The Ton Stamps' blog for more details.

If you are coming from The Ton's blog, you're right on track. You can find the complete list of today's blog hop at the end of this post.

I've created two cards for today. My first card is showcasing Smiling Cosmos set with a beautiful cosmos cluster image.

I gold heat embossed the Smiling Cosmos image on a watercolor paper panel and colored it with Color Burst. After the panel was dry I splattered some pink and opaque white watercolor on the panel.

The panel with the sentiment was cut using a coordinating die of Modern Labels from some magenta cardstock. I cut the panel only partially using the die and cut the upper part with a craft knife. I then gold heat embossed the sentiment from Today's Cosmos set on it and added the gold embossing on the edge.

The front panel and the sentiment panel were cut using Double Stitched Rectangle die. I adhered the colored front panel flat on a white cardbase and foam mounted the sentiment panel on it.
I finished off the card by adding some Medallion Gold sequins.

My next card is featuring a very unique stamp set, called Gifted. The stamp set has along with solo gift boxes a stack of boxes in three layers.

I started off by stamping the stack of gift boxes in Soft Garnet, Bright Emerald and Soft Garden on a white cardstock. I gold heat embossed the ribbons and colored three boxes using yellow Copic markers which stay white after stamping all three layers.

To create the background I blended Soft Garden on two diagonal areas of a yellow cardbase. After the ink was dry I gold heat embossed Diagonal Stripes background stamp on it.

I then cut down the front panel with the gift boxes using a Double Stitched Rectangle die and foam mounted it on the cardbase. The sentiment was stamped in Noir and clear heat embossed on a strip of yellow cardstock, cut in a arrow shape and foam mounted on the card. I blended a little bit of Soft Garden on one end.

To finish off the card I colored some white part of the ribbons using glitter gel pens and added Glass Slippers and Lemon Chiffon sequins.

That's all from me! Hope you enjoyed looking my cards!

The Ton Fall 2018 Release Blog Hop

Hello and Welcome to The Ton’s Fall 2018 Release blog hop!  For this release, The Ton has debuted 11 new stamps and a new pop up floral die. There are free gifts with purchase promotions also! There’s also a little surprise for today since it is World Cardmaking Day. Head over to The Ton’s blog for more details.

If you've arrived here from lovely Amy Tsuruta's blog, you are right on track. If you're lost on the way or want to start from the start please hop over to The Ton’s blog.

I have three cards and five tags to share with you today.
Because of the delay of the delivery, I used for some of my cards Effie's digital design instead of the stamp.

My first card is showcasing Amazing Gardenia. The large gardenia flower measures approximately 4 x 5.5 inches at its widest poinsts. I used here the digital image.

I arranged the floral image and the sentiment also from  Amazing Gardenia stamp set on computer and printed it on a neenah solar white cardstock. I colored the gardenia first using Copics (RV11,13, 17, 19, 69). The leaves were colored using Cool Gray Copic markers.

I wanted to have a golden sentiment. As I had a printed sample I have foiled the sentiment in gold. I then cut the panel with a Double Stitched Rectangle die. I blended Hollywood Star on a corner and mounted the panel on a soft pink cardbase. I finished off the card by adding some sequins from Cosmic Mauve Couture Mix.

The second card was made with Gardenia Wishes stamp set. The image is actually very large, approximately 6.75 x 4inches at its widest points. I printed the image and the sentiment too small. Assuming my card is 7 x 5.5 inches, it shows the actual size of the image :).

I colored Gardenia Wishes using Copics too. I used BG01, 02, 05 and 09 for the big gardenia and for the small ones I used B00, 02, 05 and 06.

After I foiled the sentiment in gold I cut the panel using Double Stitched Rectangle die. I blended Arctic Sky on a corner and mounted the panel on a light blue cardbase. The finishing touch was some Glass Slippers sequins.

For next card I used Wonderland Print and Cardinal FriendsWonderland Print is a bundle of two 6x8 clear stamp sets. You can create the rectangle wreath in multiple stamping.

I stamped the wreath in Lemon Drop, Soft Garden and Crystal Pewter. To add some depth I stamped them again partially in Coraline Hybrid, Bright Fern and Smoky Quartz respectively. The sentiment is also from Wonderland Print. I silver heat embossed the sentiment, cut the panel using Double Stitched Rectangle die and foam mounted the panel on a yellow cardbase. I narrowed the panel slightly to show the yellow base.

The yellow cardinal from Cardinal Friends was colored using yellow and warm gray Copics. I fussy cut the cardinal and the branch and foam mounted them onto the card. To finish off I scattered some sequins from Lemon Chiffon, Glass Slippers sequins and New Year Couture Mix.

Now to the tags :) ! Holiday Chic Tags and coordinating dies would be a great addition to your tag collection. The tag die cuts also pierced line on the edges. As I used cut files my tags don't have the pierced line.

The poinsettia cluster on my first tag is Christmas Mini Cluster

I started by stamping the falling snow from  Holiday Chic Tags in gray ombre using Pewter Collection. The sentiment is from  Wonderland Print. I stamped it in Noir and clear heat embossed it.
I gold heat embossed Christmas Mini Cluster and colored it with Color Burst. I cut it using the coordinating die and foam mounted it onto the tag.

I used the diagonal stripes from  Holiday Chic Tags set to make the second card. It was stamped in Soft Garden. I then gold heat embossed the sentiment and the doodled Christmas tree on it.

On this tag I stamped the falling snow pattern in Pewter Collection like the first tag. I added the red cardinal and the branch from Cardinal Friends onto it. The cardinal and the branch were colored using Copic markers. The gold heat embossed sentiment is from Banners-Holiday Add On. I added a thin strip of Adhesive Foil paper gold under the sentiment and added the sentiment strip to the tag.

The poinsettia on the next two tags were stamped using Wonderland Print set.

The solo poinsettias from Wonderland Print set were stamped in Lipstick Red and Soft Garden

Here I heat embossed the diagonal stripes in gold tinsel and stamped the sentiment from Banners-Holiday Add On repeatedly between the lines.

For this tag I stamped the sentiment from Holiday Chic Tags in Noir and clear heat embossed. The silver heat embossed line pattern is also from Holiday Chic Tags set. I covered the poinsettias with a coat of clear glitter and foam mounted them on the tags.
