The Ton's Fall 2017 Release - Day 3

Hello and Welcome to Day3 of The Ton's Fall 2017 Release!

Today is the Poinsettia day! We have 4 gorgeous clear stamps and one cling stamp with beautiful poinsettia images to share with you. Yes, they are my favorites from this release along with magnolias and carnations :)!!! Cozy Poinsettias and Holiday Love Poinsettia are beautiful poinsettia clusters with holiday sentiments in pretty font. The Poinsettia banner is a big stamp with a integrated banner. And there are sentiments which fit in the banner. Poinsettia Close Up could be a unique background or a main image for your holiday projects. Occasion Confetti is a good addition to the sentiment collection.
Today's Couture Mix is Milky Way

For today's reveal I've created four holiday cards!
Let's start with this purple version.

I silver heat embossed Cozy Poinsettias on Bristol Smooth paper and colored it using Zig brush markers. After done with coloring I cut the panel along the bottom outline of Cozy Poinsettias. I then scored the crossing lines on that panel and foam mounted it on my cardbase on which I glued a silver panel. The sentiment from Holiday Love Poinsettias was silver heat embossed on vellum banner and added on the front panel. I adhered the sequins from Milky way to finish off the card.

Next up is a one layer card featuring Holiday Love Poinsettia in red. This card is a bit darker IRL than the picture.

To start off I stamped the Holiday Love Poinsettia in Hampton White pigment ink on the dark red cardbase and colored it using Prismacolor colored pencils. I then white heat embossed the image with the help of MISTI tool. To darken the bottom part of the card front I blended Spiced Chai and Pink Derby. The sentiment from the same stamp set was white heat embossed.
To finish off I added some sequins from Sugar Cookie and Santa's Sneezes.

My third card is showing Poinsettia Banner.

I stamped the Poinsettia Banner in gray on a white cardstock, cut it with a cutting machine (we have coordinating die!!!) and colored it using Copic markers. Colors I used for big poinsettias are R24, R46 and R59, for small poinsettias R37 and R89 and for the big leaves YG13, YG17 and YG67. After done with coloring I gold heat embossed the image again with the help of Misti tool.
The background is a simple red watercolor wash using some red Distress inks. I stamped the sentiment from Poinsettia Banner in Noir and foam mounted it onto the card. To finish off I added some sequins from Sugar Cookie and Santa's Sneezes.

My last poinsettia card for today has bold and colorful background featuring Poinsettia Close up behind a little poinsettia wreath made using one of our gift with purchase items, Christmas mini Cluster.

To start off I white heat embossed Dahlia Close Up on some watercolor paper and colored it using Gansai Tambi watercolor. I then cut the panel with one of our Double Stitched Square dies (small) and set it aside. The circle frame was cut with Double Stitched Circle dies from a white cardstock and again from Adhesive Glitter paper (glossy fine transparent). I adhered the glitter paper frame on the white frame. The Christmas mini Cluster was silver heat embossed on some vellum and fussy cut. I colored the center in yellow using Pico embellisher and left the poinsettia itself not colored to show off the background. The small sentiment is also from Christmas mini Cluster which I stamped on the frame using black StazOn ink. I foam mounted the circle frame with the poinsettia cluster on a nest of silver thread. Some sequins from Sugar Cookie and Winter Thaw were my finishing touch.

ALL NEW RELEASE ITEMS WILL BE AVAILABLE IN THE SHOP ON September 7 (DAY 4).

Today I have three cards to share with you.
My first card is showing Christmas Wreath Builder. I've created a CAS card using Pine leave wreath, the pine cones and the bow.

I started by stamping the wreath and the bow. For the first layer of the wreath I used Crystal Pewter and the bow was stamped in Rose Quartz, Hollywood Star and Cosmopolitan PinkI silver heat embossed the second layer of the wreath and cut it with my cutting machine (coordinating dies will be available on Sep.7th as well.). I heat embossed the second layer of pine cone several times in Rose Gold. I then fussy cut the bow and the pine cones. I dry embossed the dark gray cardbase using two Double Stitched Circle dies and cut out a circle from a A2 sized soft pink panel. I heat embossed the sentiment from Christmas Wreath Builder in Rose Gold on the cardbase. To assemble my card I foam mounted the pink panel and the wreath. The pine cones and the bow were added using some foam adhesives. To finish off the card I adhered some sequins from New Year Couture Mix on the wreath.

My second card was made with Holly Branch stamp set.

First I stamped one holly branch on top left of a white panel. I used Bright Fern and Basil Mojito for the leaves, Lipstick Red and Pink Derby for the berries and Found Topaz for the stem. I then filled the panel with holly branches in Crystal Pewter and Smoky Quartz. Obviously the stamps were not completely clean so the images have a hint of colors I used for the first branch :). It wasn't intended, but I like it. I then cut out a frame from this panel using two Double Stitched Rectangle dies and one more frame from Adhesive glitter paper (glossy fine transparent) and adhered it on the frame from stamped panel. The front panel was taped flat on the cardbase and the frame using some foam adhesives. The sentiment is also from Holly Branch set. I heat embossed it in gold. Some sequins from Frosted Spearmint were my finishing touch.

My last card for today shows a little night scene featuring a Mini Pine Tree.

I stamped the pine tree in Ocean Teal and Everglade Moss on a A2 sized white panel. I heat embossed the last layer of the pine tree in white to represent some snow. I then drew a curvy line as a snowy hill and cut the panel along the line and outline of the pine tree. I added snow on the hill using a Snow pen. To create the background I blended Violet Fringe, Plum Wine, Azurite, Deep Sapphire and Light Onyx, splattered some white ink and some pearlized water on it, and white and silver heat embossed some little stars from Star Trails set. The sentiment from Holly Branch was white heat embossed. The background panel was glued flat on the cardbase and the panel with the pine tree was foam mounted on it. For more shine I covered the hill with glitter using a clear glitter pen and added Crystal Stickles here and there. To finish off I scattered some sequins from Blue Ice on the snowy hill.

That was three cards I created for today's reveal! Hope you enjoyed looking at them!

ALL NEW RELEASE ITEMS WILL BE AVAILABLE IN THE SHOP ON September 7 (DAY 4).

I have created five cards for today! So let's get started!

My first card is featuring Magnificent Magnolias. I started by creating the background using "smooshing" technique and Distress Oxide inks (Wilted Violet, Worn Lipstick, Broken China, Iced Spruce) on some mixed media paper. I then stamped the magnolias on it in light gray and colored it with Copic markers (Flower: RV000, 02,04,06,09/ Stem: G14, YG13, E11, E15, E29). I then stamped and silver heat embossed the image again using MISTI stamping tool. I silver heat embossed the magnolias on the cardbase as well and Minor Stripes on the left edge.  I narrowed the colored panel, added thin strips of Glossy Fine Silver Glitter paper on both sides and foam mounted it onto the cardbase. The sentiment is from Magnificent Magnolias as well, which I white heat embossed on a black banner. To finish off I added Glass Slippers sequins, Royal Garden Party and Blue Ice Couture Mixes.

Next card shows Fresh Cut Carnations. I created a CAS style card with two carnations.

I stamped one pink and one purple carnation using Rose Quartz, Hollywood Star, Cosmopolitan Pink (pink)/ Soft Orchid, Orchid Crush and Grand Fuchsia (purple). The stems were stamped in Soft Garden and Deep Emerald. I cut them with my cutting machine and set them aside. For the background I dry embossed a white panel using six Double stitched Circle dies, blended  Rose Quartz on the center of the circle, added a thin strip of pink glitter tape on right edge and glued the panel flat on my dark gray cardbase.
To assemble the card I foam mounted the carnations as shown in the picture. The sentiment is from Large Florals: Carnation. I white heat embossed it on some dark gray cardstock fussy cut it and added one more layer of fussy cut white cardstock underneath. The sentiment was added on the flowers along with some silver thread. I finished off the card by scattering some sequins from Royal Garden Party and Raspberry Sparkle Couture Mix.

The third card for today is featuring Good Tidings Cluster, one of our gift with purchase items. I created a shaker card using Bokeh Burst Round set along with Good Tidings Cluster set.

I started by stamping and coloring the Good Tidings Cluster twice. I stamped it in Crystal Pewter and colored them using Copic markers. Copics I used are: BV31, B 63, B66, B69, BG13, BG15, BG18. My berries are gold instead of red, which were colored with gold Pico embellisher. I fussy cut the images and set them aside. For the shaker I stamped the Bokeh Burst Round on a white wood grain textured cardstock in ombre blue using Arctic Sky, Azurite, Violet Fringe. I cut the circle using coordinating die and assembled the shaker element together. The background is a wood patterned paper and the shaker elements are sequins from Medallion Gold, Midnight Frost and Blue Ice. The Good Tidings Clusters are foam mounted and the sentiment from Christmas Mini Cluster was gold heat embossed on some vellum banner and glued onto the card.

Next up is my alcohol ink magnolias :) .

I stamped Magnolia Field on a glossy cardstock in some water based ink in light pink and colored the panel with alcohol inks by dripping the ink and tilting the paper. The outline stamped with ink can hold the alcohol ink a little bit, so that the ink stays inside of the outline. Some ink went out, but I think it looks okay as one of the background color. Alcohol inks I used are Flamingo, Shell Pink, Mountain Rose, Sunshine Yellow, Aqua, Limeade and Hazelnut. After done with coloring, I gold heat embossed Magnolia Field again with the help of MISTI I then cut the panel along the outline of some magnolia flowers. To make the side panel I swiped Aqua and Limeade on a Yupo paper using a felt applicator. I glued the side panel flat on my A2 cardbase and foam mounted the magnolia panel on it. I stamped the sentiment from Fresh Cut Carnations on a snippet of white cardstock in Noir, cut it in a banner, matted with a brown banner and foam mounted it. Some gold sequins were my finishing touch.

My last card for today is a Waterfall card.

My colored panel is one layer. I chose a watercolor cardstock to stamp the images using water based markers. I used Tombow brush markers to scribble on the stamps from Waterfall set. Only the rocks were stamped in Crystal Pewter and Smoky Quartz. After stamping I blended the colors a little bit using a damp brush. Water foam was white heat embossed. The sentiment from the same stamp set was stamped in Noir. I narrowed down the front panel and gold heat embossed the edges before I foam mounted it on the cardbase. On both side of cardbase I adhered thin strips of Adhesive foil paper gold . I finished off the card by adding some sequins from Sugar Cookie and Spotlight.
