The Ton's 3rd Anniversary Release - Blog Hop 1/25
Hello and welcome to The Ton's third anniversary Release Blog Hop 1/25!
Did you enjoy the beautiful creations by Effie on The Ton blog? I've made three cards for today's hop. Hope you like them too:).
It was another awesome release by The Ton. As always Effie has designed several beautiful stamp sets for this release. There are some gorgeous floral stamps with which you can build your own bouquet and some floral cluster stamps which are awesome for a quick make.
I used Fresh Cut Daisies to decorate my bold sentiment from Seriously Amazing Sentiments for the first card.
I started by stamping three daisies from Fresh Cut Daisies on a A2 sized white panel. I used Vanilla Frosted Cupcake, Lemon Drop and Amber Citrine for the yellow daisy, Rose Quartz, Soft Garnet and Red Sangria Hybrid for the light pink one and Soft Orchid, Orchid Crush ad Grand Fuchsia for the darker pink flower. The leaves were stamped in Soft Garden and Bright Fern. I the stamped amazing from Seriously Amazing Sentiments on the center of the panel in Noir and clear heat embossed it. To add more interest I heat embossed the upper part of the sentiment in Bronze. The "YOU ARE" on a small gray banner is from Brushed Love, stamped in Noir. I cut the panel using Double Stitched Rectangle Dies and foam mounted it on a gray cardbase. To finish off I added some sequins from Pink Cosmo Twist Couture Mix and Glass Slippers sequins.
My second card is featuring Peony Notes. I used only a and b stamps which create the beautiful floral cluster on the bottom border. Peony Notes is only available as a three set bundle.
I heat embossed the three step layering peonies in Liquid Platinum, Gold and Bronze on a white panel. For the leaves I used Verdigris embossing powder. I heat embossed the second layer of the leaves also in Verdigris. I then blended Lemon Drop, Peach Blossom and Soft Garnet on the background. I stamped the sentiment from Peony Notes in Noir and clear heat embossed it and added gold heat embossed small sentiment under it. Some pretty sequins from Rose Champagne Sparkle Couture Mix and from Smoked Emerald Sparkling clear sequins were my finishing touch.
On my last card I created a peony cluster from Painted Peonies set in the same way like the previous card.
I used a creme panel to heat emboss the image. After done with heat embossing I stamped the sentiment from Peony Notes set in Noir and clear heat embossed it. I then added "HELLO" from the same set multiple times around the floral cluster in Warm Hazelnut. I finished off this one layer card by adding some Smoked Emerald Sparkling clear sequins.
Peony Notes and Painted Peonies are very easy to align and the results are really beautiful. Here are again two one layer cards together made using both stamp sets :) ! Of course there are coordinating dies for both sets!

The Ton's 3rd Anniversary Release - Day 3
Hello and Welcome to Day3 of The Ton's 3rd Anniversary Release!

The Smooched and XOXO mini sets were pre-released last week to give you more time to create your Valentine's day projects. Kind, Fierce and Brave mini set is a great sentiment set for an encouragement card.

Today I have four cards to share with you.
The first card is an almost one layer creation using Loose Tulips.
The first card is an almost one layer creation using Loose Tulips.
I started off by making masks for the flowers and leaves. I stamped the tulips in Rose Quartz and the leaves in Blue Diamond to create the tulip field along with masking when needed. I then colored the image using Copic markers. I used RV11, RV13, RV14 for the pink tulips, R20, R21, R22 and R24 for the coral tulips and BG11, BG32, BG13, BG15 and BG49 for the leaves. After done with coloring I blended Caribbean Turquoise ink on the bottom part of the panel and added white dots using a white gel pen. The sentiment from Loose Tulips was gold heat embossed on the panel. I trimmed down the panel slightly and foam mounted it onto a light gray cardbase. I finished off the card by adding some sequins from Mint Sugar and Misty Mint.
On my next card I colored the tulip from Sweet Folk Hummingbird set using alcohol inks.
The tulip image from Sweet Folk Hummingbird was silver heat embossed on a alcohol ink cardstock. I then dripped the alcohol ink on it and tilted the paper carefully to move and blend the colors. I used Flamingo and Shell Pink for the pink tulip, Valencia, Sunset Orange and Sunshine yellow for the orange one and Citrus and Botanical for the leaves. The background was created with Aqua and Citrus diluted using rubbing alcohol. The sentiment from the same set was white heat embossed on a dark gray cardstock. I added a strip of white cardstock on which I adhered Glossy Fine Transparent adhesive paper, underneath the sentiment strip to add some sparkle. My finishing touch was some sequins from Pink Bokeh and Cosmic Mauve Couture Mix and Glass Slippers sequins mix.
My next two cards could be Valentine's Day cards :).
To create this card I made the background panel first. I loosely colored an A2 sized watercolor panel in cobalt turquoise and white heat embossed Delicate Polka Dots on it. I then cut the letters for "hugs" using Bold General Greeting and Bold Amazing Greeting Word Plate Dies from some watercolor paper and watercolored the letters in yellow. I borrowed "and" from Holiday Word Dies. I cut it from a transparent glitter paper made using our Glossy Fine Transparent adhesive paper and two more times from thick white cardstock to stack them together. The lips from Smooched set were stamped in Red Sangria Hybrid ink which is pinkish red. I clear heat embossed the lips after stamping to make them shiny. I foam mounted all the elements onto my card as shown in the picture and added some sequins from Glass Slippers round confetti.
Today's last card is featuring Smooched and City Buildings.
I silver heat embossed the City Buildings background on a black cardstock and cut the upper part to create a skyline. The night sky was created by blending Deep Sapphire, Iris Blooms, Light Onyx on the cardbase. I splattered white opaque ink on it and blended Hampton White pigment ink above the building line. I foam mounted the Ciry Building scene on the cardbase. I trimmed down the bottom part of it to show the silver glitter paper I adhered on the cardbase. I added yellow Pico embellisher on a window of a house I want to show off and colored the house in purple using a colored pencil. The lips from Smooched were stamped in Valentine Red and Lipstick Red and clear heat embossed. The hearts are from Beautiful Day Bicycle set. I stamped them in red as well clear heat embossed and cut with the coordinating dies. The sentiment from Smooched set was white heat embossed on a silver cardstock and added onto the card using foam adhesives. I added the hearts and lips and some sequins from Lilac Blossoms to finish off the card. The small heart on the sentiment panel needed some Glossy Accents :).

Seize the Birthday - One Layer
Hello again and happy Thursday!
Today is the Seize the Birthday Thursday :)! Our Toppings option for the next fortnight is
ONE LAYER
As always you may enter any birthday project if you want to!
I took the Toppings option and made a one layer card.
I created a DIY stamped background using Frosted Garden from Altenew. I stamped the flowers using Red Cosmos mini inks. I dabbed the darker red on the area of the stamp where I want to have darker shade using finger dauber and stamped it again with the help of MISTI. The leaves were stamped using Rock collection mini inks. I added the black stamen using a black glaze pen. The sentiment is from Painted Greetings set also by Altenew. I stamped it with a black pigment ink and clear heat embossed it. To add some golden accents I adhered a strip of washi tape and scattered some sequins from Medallion Gold mix by The Ton. To finish off I covered the flowers with WOS clear glitter.
It was definitely a pleasure for me to make this one! Hope you'll give it a try too!

Today we have five clear stamps, one rubber cling background stamp and three new Couture Mixes to share with you! Effie designed again a gorgeous lady in a marvelous dress for Haute Gala Dress set. You can unleash your creativity on her dress! Timeless Peonies Print is a background stamp when you stamp all the layers. Or you can leave the layering floral cluster as it is. Painted Peonies is a bigger version of the layering floral cluster of the Timeless Peonies Print set. The Peony Bouquet is again a pretty outline image of a bouquet and a vase, great for coloring addicts :)! Delicate Polka Dots is a rubber cling background stamp. The Most Interesting Cardmaker is a sentiment set. You'll love the fun sentiments from this set!

I've made three cards for today's reveal.
The first one is featuring Haute Gala Dress set. I used a panel created using Timeless Peonies Print for this card.
I started off by stamping the layers of Timeless Peonies Print. I stamped first the background in Ballet Slippers and stamped the peony cluster in Soft Orchid, Orchid Crush and Grand Fuchsia. The leaves were stamped in Crystal Pewter and Smoky Quartz. I then silver heat embossed the lady on the stamped panel and once again on a white cardstock. I die cut them using the coordinating die. I heat embossed the lady from the stamped panel in iridescent embossing powder to add some sparkle. I colored the head and the arm part of the lady on the white cardstock with Copic markers and fussy cut it to paper piece it on the lady cut from the stamped panel. I glued the negative die cut on a cardbase and blended Hampton white pigment ink on the edge of the die cut area to mute the colors around the lady. I then foam mounted the lady onto the card and added some flower sequins from Sakura Petals Couture Mix. The sentiment is from Haute Gala Dress. I stamped it in Noir.
On my next card I colored the Peony Bouquet using Prismacolor colored pencils.
I stamped Peony Bouquet in embossing ink on a kraft cardstock and colored it using Prismacolor colored pencils. I then heat embossed the image in white with the help of MISTI tool. To tie the twine around the stems I cut two slits next to the stems. I trimmed the panel down and foam mounted it on a cardbase. The sentiment was gold heat embossed on a die cut leave from Large Peony4 and tagged to the ribbon. To finish off I scattered some sequins from Misty Mint Couture Mix.
And this is the last card for today! A CAS design!
Painted Peonies can be such a gorgeous main element of a CAS card. I stamped the flowers in Cali Blue, Azurite and Deep Sapphire and the leaves in Crystal Pewter and Smoky Quartz. I cut it using the coordinating die and set it aside. I silver heat embossed the sentiment from Painted Peonies on my gray cardbase. To add some texture I dry embossed a circle around the sentiment using a die from Bokeh Burst round set and scored three lines. The Painted Peonies cluster was then foam mounted. To finish off I coated the roses with a clear glitter pen and added some sequins from Misty Mint Couture mix and Light Blue Topaz Sparkling clear sequins mix.
