Guest Designing at CAS Watercolor Challenge

Hello everyone!!! Hope June has started off great for you all!

Today I have a special card to share with you. I had the pleasure and honor to be picked as a winner at April CAS Watercolor challenge. And lovely Loll who hosted the challenge has invited me to this current CAS watercolor June challenge with the theme Something Blue as a guest designer!!!

I used to make many CAS cards as I started making cards but it changed with the time and now my cards are rarely CAS. So I was a bit concerned if I could make a card which is CAS enough for the challenge. I tried and hope my card for today meets the rules of the challenge.

Here is my card!

I started off by stamping the Love's Glow (40-685) by Penny Black on a Ranger watercolor cardstock in Salty Ocean, Broken China and Peacock Feather DI. I used Peacock Feather for the leaves and other two blue shades for the gorgeous flower. Love's Glow (40-685) is a cling stamp in the brushstroke style. So after stamping it looked already like finished with all the shades. But I went in with a waterbrush and the same DIs to add more details.

After the coloring was done I cut the bottom part of the panel along a line I drew and the outline of the image and set it aside.  I then ink blended the lower part of the cardbase in Salty Ocean, Broken China, Peacock Feather and Blueprint Sketch DIs. I added clear water splatter to add some texture. I also colored some thin strip of white cardstock in the same colors and added it to the bottom border of the front panel with the stamped flower.

I white heat embossed the sentiment from Dahlias set (30-159) on the cardbase and foam mounted the front panel and the card was finished!

Please don't forget to stop by CAS Watercolor Challenge blog to get more inspiration from the talented DT members!

Huge Thanks to Loll and CAS Watercolor team for having me as a guest!
Thank you all for stopping by!
Have a wonderful day!

The Ton May 2019 Release Instagram Hop

Hello everyone! We are celebrating The Ton's May 2019 Release with a Instagram Hop ! There's a ton of inspiration on this hop today and some free stamp giveaways to be won!

If you didn't hop along yet, please start hopping at The Ton on Instagram

I'm sharing this card on the Instagram Hop today. But I want to share this on my blog as well with more detailed description.

This card is featuring Peony Dreams Cluster set from this release. It is a 6 x 6 inch clear stamp and have two gorgeous large peonies. I worked with the corresponding digital image, as I didn't get the stamp set in time.

I have the image printed on Canson Mixed Media Paper and colored using Color Burst powders along with other watercolors. I used Alizarin Crimson and Merlot for the peonies. The leaves were colored in gray and the little flowers in violet. I colored the background in Payne's gray and Violet.

After the coloring was done I added white splatters all over the panel and let it dry. I then cut the panel using Double Stitched Rectangle die and mounted it on a white cardbase.

The sentiment was cut using Fabulous word die from Adhesive Glitter paper Glossy Fine Silver and from some white cardstock and stacked together. The " YOU ARE " from Basic Labels set was stamped in Iris Blooms and added to the card with foam adhesives.

To finish off I scattered some sequins from Lilac Blossoms Couture Mix and drew the stamen using a black glaze pen. I love how this turned out! This stamp set is just so lovely!

Hope you are now inspired and ready for the Instagram Hop :) !!!

Thank you so much for stopping by!
Have a wonderful weekend!

The Ton May 2019 Release

Hello and welcome to The Ton May 2019 Release !!!

Today 11 unique and beautiful stamp sets are debuting at The Ton. The new items are now available in The Ton shop

NEW RELEASE ORDERS WILL BEGIN SHIPPING ON MAY 31.

Effie has released 11 new stamps along with coordinating cut files! In addition to new designs, we have some giveaways and a free gift with purchase. Read on for giveaway details. Head over to The Ton's blog for more free gift with purchase details.

I have three projects to share with you today.
The first card is showcasing the new Scenes: Parisian Cafe set and City Girls: Chic Happens set.
I worked with the digital designs as the stamp sets haven't arrived here in time. So the sizes are not accurately the same like the actual images of the stamp sets.

I printed the Scenes: Parisian Cafe on a Canson Mixed Media paper panel and watercolored lightly the background scene of Paris.

The girl with bunch of balloons in her hand from City Girls: Chic Happens set was printed on a Neenah Solar white cardstock and colored using Copic markers. I then fussy cut the image and set it aside. The sentiment is from  City Girls: Chic Happens set. I drew a heart around the sentiment, colored using Copics and cut it out.

I mounted the background panel on a white cardbase and added the girl and the sentiment in heart using some foam adhesives. I drew a string for the heart with the sentiment to make it into another heart balloon. To finish off the card I covered the small balloons with Glossy Accents and added some Glass Slippers round confetti sequins.

Next project is featuring Peony Dreams Cluster set. This is a beautiful 6 by 6 inch clear stamp. I always struggle with the card design, when I finished coloring The Ton's 6x6 inch sets. It's so hard to decide which part of the finished panel I have to use. So this time I took an easy way and simply framed the colored panel!

I used digital image to make this too. I printed Peony Dreams Cluster on Canson Mixed Media paper and colored the image using Mijello Mission Gold watercolor. I was thinking of coloring the background in some dark colors but decided to leave it as it is. I wasn't that brave to do it :).

My last card for today is showcasing the newest digital cut file Lily Trio Coverplate SVG. Effie has been releasing lots of beautiful layering floral cut files! If you haven't check them out yet, don't miss out on it! You can find them in Digital category in The Ton Shop.

I cut the four layers of the lily image from white cardstock using my Cricut. I then colored the layers in yellow shades using some alcohol markers. I stacked them together and added to a kraft cardbase.

The sentiment is from Fab Day Peony set, which is a gift with purchase item from this release. I white heat embossed it on a strip of dark brown cardstock and adhered the strip onto the card. I finished off the card by adding three clear Dew Drops

So that's all from my side! Please visit The Ton's blog for the full reveal and projects from my talented team mates! There is a Gift with Purchase promotion. So don't forget to check it out also!

Seize the Birthday #166 - Presents

Hello everyone! Hope you're having a wonderful week so far!

It's Seize the Birthday Thursday! My team mate JoAnn chose for this challenge the Toppings option and it is
PRESENTS

It is a easy one I think ;)! As always you may enter any birthday themed project into our gallery.

I used Gifted stamp set by The Ton for my card today. This stack of presents is a four step stamp image.

For my presents I used True Navy, Red Sangria hybrid ink (The Ton) and a silver ink.  The ribbons were silver heat embossed. After stamping was done I fussy cut the image and set it aside.

I chose a navy cardstock as my cardbase. To add some party feeling I heat embossed three firework images from Pyrotechnics set by The Ton in silver on the cardbase.

The sentiment form Penned Sentiments set was stamped in True Navy on a silver heat embossed banner from Basic Banners set (The Ton). I then cut the banner using the coordinating die
I foam mounted the presents on the cardbase and added the sentiment banner. I also adhered three red rhinestones on the center of the fireworks.

That's it from me today!
Please stop by Seize the Birthday blog for more inspiration from my team mates and our surprise party guest Linda from Lin's Craft Corner!

I'd love to see your creations in our gallery!!!
Thank you so much for stopping by! Have a happy day!

Pinkfresh Studio May Essentials Release Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to Pinkfresh Studio May 2019 Essentials Release Blog Hop!!! You've arrived here froRebecca Luminarias's blog, if you're following the blog hop order. In case you're lost on the way or want to start over, please hop over to Pinkfresh Studio blog!

I'm so thrilled to be a part of this special blog hop! Pinkfresh Studio has been introducing awesome products every Month and this time it's no exception! 6 unique Essentials die sets, Jewel and Crystal mixes are debuting today!

I had the pleasure to play with the new pretty dies and some beautiful floral stamp sets by Pinkfresh Studio and made three cards to share with you for today's blog hop.

My first card is featuring Pretty Frames 2 die and Blooming Bouquet stamp set. I also used one frame die from Fancy Label Frames die set for my sentiment. Pretty Frames 2 die is a coverplate die which cuts several frames in various shapes.

I stamped the bouquet image from Blooming Bouquet  set on a Neenah solar white cardstock panel in black Memento ink. I colored the image using Copic markers and then gold heat embossed the image.
I cut it using the matching die and set it aside.

To create the background I softly ink blended the panel using Distress inks in pink, orange and yellow shades. I splattered clear water and dabbed it off with a paper towel to add some texture. I also splattered white opaque ink on the panel and let it dry. After the panel was dry I dry embossed it with Pretty Frames 2 die. I cut the dotted frame using the same die from some white cardstock and from a white fun foam to stack them together.

The sentiment is from Blooming Bouquet set as well. I cut a mini label using a die from Fancy Label Frames set and stamped the sentiment. I ink blended the edge of the label in the same colors I used for the background. I tied the bouquet with golden thread, made a bow and added the sentiment label to it. I then assembled the card as shown in the picture. I finished off the card by adding a red rhinestone onto the bow.

The second card is showcasing Braided Circles die set and Hanging Florals stamp set. I used the outer part of the dies to make the front panel.

I started off by white heat embossing the floral cluster from Hanging Florals set. I colored it with
Zig brush markers and cut it using the matching die. I cut off the ring part of the image to have the floral cluster.

To create the front panel I colored a watercolor paper panel using ink smooshing technique. I used blue, pink and purple DIs. Clear water splatters and opaque white ink splatters were added on the panel for some texture. After the panel was completely dry I cut the panel using three outer dies from Braided Circles die set and dry embossed the largest circle.

The sentiment is from Just a Little Lovely stamp set. I heat embossed it on the white cardbase in black. I then foam mounted the front panel and added the floral cluster on it using some foam adhesives. I finished off the card by scattering some iridescent sequins.

Next card was made using Lacey Edgers1 die set and Just a Little Lovely stamp set.

This time I chose the colored pencils as my coloring medium. I stamped the floral cluster from Just a Little Lovely stamp set in white pigment ink on Toned Gray paper and colored the image using Luminance and Holbein colored pencils.

After the coloring was done I dry embossed it using the matching die and cut both ends of the image. I also cut the left edge of the panel using one of Lacey Edgers1 die set.  I white heat embossed the sentiment from Just a Little Lovely set as well onto the colored panel.

I then adhered the panel on a black cardbase. I raised both ends of the floral cluster using foam adhesives. I filled the little holes of the lacey edge with shimmer Pico embellisher and crystal Stickles to add some shimmer and sparkle. I finished off the card by adding white splatters and a few pink and clear rhinestones onto the card.

That's it from my side. I hope I was able to show you the beauty of the new Essentials products!

The Flower Challenge #32 - Embossing: Heat or Dry - Reminder

Hello everyone! Welcome to my blog!

I'm popping in again to share my DT card for The Flower Challenge #32: Embossing! It's time for a reminder post for the current challenge! You have time to enter till 25th. And there is a prize to win!
For more details about the prize sponsored by Altenew, please click here.

I did heat and dry embossing to create my background. I used also emboss resist technique.
For this card I used Watercolor Stripes stencil , Crown Bloom stamp set and Moments in Time by Altenew.

I started off by making a watercolored background panel in red. I used Brusho powders in various red shades. I sprinkled the pigment powders on a watercolor paper panel and sprayed clear water on it. After the panel was dry I fixed the Watercolor Stripes stencil on it. I first dry embossed the panel with the stencil and applied embossing ink on it to clear heat emboss the stripes. After heat embossing was done, I applied the red Brushos again with spritz of water onto the panel to add more red color to the not-embossed part of the panel. After the panel was completely dry, I added white opaque ink splatters.

I then started working on the floral cluster. I stamped the flower and two leaves from Crown Bloom stamp set on a white cardstock in Memento London Fog ink. I then colored them using Copic markers in C colors (C1,3,5 and7) and cut them using the coordinating dies.

The background panel was foam mounted on a white cardbase. I arranged the flower and the leaves as shown in the picture. The flower was added using foam adhesives for more dimension. The Sentiment from Moments in Time stamp set was white heat embossed on a strip of black cardstock, cut in a fish tail and added to the card. I thought it needs some black on the right side as a counterpart to the sentiment strip, so I added three black rhinestones. I finished off the card by adding dots on the stamen using a glitter pen.

Hope you enjoyed looking my card and I could inspire you to play along at The Flower Challenge!

Please stop by The Flower Challenge blog for more inspiration from my team mates and our guest designer Enna!

Thank you so much for stopping by today!
Have a wonderful day!
