Seize the Birthday #174 - It's Just a Number

Hello everyone! Are you having a great week so far? I hope you are ðŸ˜ƒ!

A new challenge has started today at Seize the Birthday. We have a toppings option chosen by Shirley - It's Just a Number!
We have always Anything Goes category, if you don't like to take our toppings option! Any birthday themed project is welcome in our gallery!

I found a perfect sentiment stamp by Penny Black called Sprinkles and Smiles in my stash ! I paired this sentiment with Gardenia Border Cling stamp by The Ton to complete my card!

First I stamped the sentiment in a black pigment ink on the center of a Bristol smooth panel and clear heat embossed it. I then stamped the Gardenia Border stamp on it in Antique Linen DI.

I colored the flowers using Zig brush markers while blending the colors with a water brush. The finished front panel was cut using a Double Stitched Rectangle die and mounted flat on a white cardbase.

That was a pretty simple one layer card without any embellishment! Hope I was able to inspire you with my card to play along with us!

Please don't forget to hop over to Seize the Birthday blog for more inspiration from my amazing team mates! And we have a new Surprise Party Guest for next two month, Annie from Annieshobby! She is an avid participant at Seize the Birthday and makes awesome clean and colorful cards!

Thank you so much for looking!
Wishing you all a crafty day!

The Flower Challenge #36 - Anything Goes

Hello everyone! Hope you're having a wonderful week so far!

Today I want to share my DT card for The Flower Challenge #36: Anything Goes !!!

My Favorite Things is sponsoring us this month, they are giving away two prizes. So we will choose two winners this month! Each will receive a gift card worth $25.

I used You Have My Heart, Blissful Blooms and Bold Blooms stamp set by MFT for my one layer card.

I started off by stamping the little flowers and leaves from Blissful Blooms and Bold Blooms stamp set in a black pigment ink on a watercolor paper panel in a wide V shape. I masked some images while stamping.  I then masked the images in the middle and stamped the little girl with her pet dog from You Have My Heart set.

I colored the stamped images using Mijello Mission Gold watercolor. I added light green shade underneath the images and then ink blended the top border of the panel in yellow DIs.
The sentiment is also from You Have My Heart set. I stamped it in a black pigment ink directly on the colored panel and clear heat embossed it.

That's it! Now it's your turn! Make some floral cards and share them with us at The Flower Challenge!

Thank you so much for stopping by today! Please don't forget to visit The Flower Challenge blog for more inspiration from my team mates and our guest designer, Michelle Ferguson from I card everyone!  I think everyone in crafting community knows how awesome she is :)! Pinkfresh Studio September 2019 Challenge

Hello everyone! Hope you're having a wonderful weekend!

Today I have a card to share with you which I made for the Pinkfresh Studio September challenge.
The theme of the September 2019 challenge is Watercolor/Mixed Media.

I picked the picture of the card with Hanging Florals from the challenge graphic as my reference.
I've made a watercolored floral card using Fancy Blooms and No One Compares to You stamp set.

I started off by stamping all of the floral clusters from  Fancy Blooms  stamp set, a few of them twice, in Antique Linen DI on some Canson watercolor paper panel. I had a blast coloring the images using Pinkfresh Studio Liquid Watercolors.

After the coloring was done I cut them all using coordinating dies and set them aside.

I stamped the sentiment from No One Compares to You stamp set from August 2019 Release on the center of a white cardbase in a black pigment ink and clear heat embossed it. To add some color to the background I ink blended Twisted Citron and Mustard Seed DI on the border of the cardbase.

I arranged the die cut floral clusters to fill the border of the card adhering them using some foam adhesives. I finished off the card with some pretty Jewels from Jewels Mix, my favorite embellishment at the moment 🙂! They are so pretty!

That's it from my side! Now it's your turn to play with us ! Any papercraft project using the challenge graphic is welcome, if the focus is on Pinkfresh Studio product!

Alcohol inked Background featuring new Standalone Dies - Pinkfresh Studio

Hello everyone!

Today I'm on Pinkfresh Studio blog with a couple of cards I made using some new standalone dies from August 2019 Release: the Modern Blooms die, the Leafy Branch die and the Beautiful word die

I've created a dry and heat embossed background panel with a faux metallic look using Modern Blooms die and alcohol inks for my first card. For the second one I used also an alcohol inked background panel as a backdrop for the beautiful die cut elements.

I hope you could stop by Pinkfresh Studio blog for more details about how I made them!

Wishing you all a happy weekend!
Hugs,
TaeEun

Seize the Birthday #173 - Square Card

Hello everyone!

Today is Seize the Birthday Thursday! The Toppings option for the last challenge of August was chosen by my lovely team mate Glenda and she wants us to make square birthday cards!

SQUARE CARD

There is alway a Anything Goes challenge at Seize the Birthday, if you don't want to take the Topping! Any birthday themed project is welcome in the gallery!

I've made a CAS floral birthday card.

I stamped the image of Tulip Bouquet stamp set by The Ton on a CANSON watercolor paper panel in Antique Linen DI. I colored the image using Mijello Mission Gold watercolor.

After the coloring was done and dry, I dry embossed the outline using the coordinating die of Tulip Bouquet. I then cut the panel using a Double Stitched Square die. I foam mounted the colored panel on a gray square cardbase and added the white heat embossed sentiment from Penned Sentiments set (The Ton).

That was my DT card for the Square Card challenge at Seize the Birthday!
Please head on over to the Seize the Birthday blog and get lots of inspiration from my amazing team mates and our surprise party guest Su Mohr from Aromas and Art!

Thank you so much for looking! I'd love to see your birthday projects in the gallery!
Hugs,

Pinkfresh Studio August Release Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to Pinkfresh Studio August Release Blog Hop!
You've arrived here froRebecca Luminarias' blog, if you're following the blog hop order. In case you're lost on the way or want to start over, please hop over to Pinkfresh Studio blog!

Pinkfresh Studio August Release includes six gorgeous stamp sets along with coordinating dies and six standalone dies, all beautiful and unique! I'm so excited and feeling honored to be part of this blog hop!

I have three cards to share with you today. The first two cards are showcasing Floral Vase stamp set and the coordinating die. Let's take a look!

I started off by stamping the bouquet on a solar white cardstock in Memento black ink and colored the image using Copic markers. I added the darkest shade of the flowers using my Polychromos colored pencils. I die cut the bouquet and fussy cut the bottom part to cut off the stem, as the coordinating die cut the bouquet with the stem.

I stamped the outline of the vase in black and stamped the layers of the vase, stems and water in light blue inks on a Bristol smooth panel. I then added a little bit of light blue shading using colored pencils. I masked the vase and ink blended the background in pink DIs. I mounted the background panel with the vase on a white cardbase.

To create the frame I used one patterned paper sheet from Just a Little Lovely 6 x 6 Paper Pack and Pretty Frames dies from the Essentials. I foam mounted the frame on the cardbase, on which I adhered the background panel with the vase. I rubbed pink glitter into the tiny holes of the die cut frame as the sticky part of the foam tape peeked through them.

The sentiment is from  Floral Vase set as well. I gold heat embossed "sending" on a scarp of the same patterned paper I used for the frame and cut it using the coordinating die. I then white heat embossed the small sentiment on a strip of black cardstock. I adhered the sentiments on the bottom of the card front and foam mounted the bouquet over the vase. I added some white accents on the flowers using a white gel pen and the card was finished!

My second card is showing the bouquet from Floral Vase colored using Pinkfresh Studio Liquid Watercolors.

I started off by stamping the bouquet with the stem and the bow in Antique Linen DI on a watercolor paper panel.  I stamped the bouquet and stem again on a separate watercolor paper panel as background so that it shows around the main bouquet image making it bigger. I masked the center part of the panel where the main bouquet would be placed and stamped the bouquet several times only partially. I also used some floral cluster form Floral Elements set to fill some gaps.

I colored all the images using Pinkfresh Studio Liquid Watercolors. I die cut the main bouquet and the bow using coordinating dies. After coloring of the background panel was also done I cut a side of the panel using a stitched scallop die from Classic Edgers. I chose a patterned paper sheet from Just a Little Lovely 6 x 6 Paper Pack in pink and yellow to match with the bouquet and adhered it on a white cardbase. I then mounted the background panel frat on that and added the bouquet and the ribbon using some foam adhesives.

The sentiment from  Floral Vase set was stamped in black pigment ink and clear heat embossed on a scrap of patterned paper I used for the background. I foam mounted it onto the card along with a small sentiment which was white heat embossed on black cardstock. To finish off I added some pretty pink and yellow jewels from Jewel Mix.

My last card is featuring Leafy Envelope die and Lovely Blossoms stamp and die set.

To start I cut the  Leafy Envelope from a teal green patterned paper from Just a Little Lovely 6 x 6 Paper Pack and from a heavyweight white cardstock. I left the white die cut in whole and heat embossed it in Iridescent sparkle embossing powder. I stamped the sentiment from Delicate Wreath set in black pigment ink on a part of the white die cut envelope before heat embossing. I then adhered the outline image of the teal green die cut on the white one.

To add some freshness to the card I stamped the small flowers and leaves from Lovely Blossoms stamp set and cut them using the coordinating dies. I chose a patterned paper from Just a Little Lovely 6 x 6 Paper Pack as my background. I mounted the panel flat on a white card base, adhered the  Leafy Envelope on it and arranged the little flowers and leaves on the left part of the envelope.

I covered the little flowers with a clear glitter pen and finished off the card by scattering some purple and clear jewels from Jewel Mix.

That's it from my side! I hope I could showcase the beautiful stamp and die sets and inspire you to create!
